(NY Times)Donald Trump Jr. suggested on Thursday that Haitian immigrants were less intelligent than people from other countries, and claimed that there was demographic evidence to back this up. He provided none.

“You look at Haiti, you look at the demographic makeup, you look at the average I.Q. — if you import the third world into your country, you’re going to become the third world,” Mr. Trump said in an interview with Charlie Kirk on Real America’s Voice, a conservative broadcasting network. “That’s just basic. It’s not racist. It’s just fact.”


The good news is that most Americans are not racist like Trump, his spawn, and MAGA cultists.

    Donald Jr. says that third world immigrants will cause American to become third world. I am thinking of the usual immigrant stories over our 250 year history. Most immigrants came here from what we would consider third world economies.

    The Irish were fleeing poverty and famine. The main reason for the 19th century mass migration of Europeans to the United States was the dire economic conditions in Europe. Others were fleeing pogroms, ghettos and lack of opportunity.

    The education system in Haiti is in dire need of assistance as Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. The Haiti educational system is ranked 177th out of 186 globally in terms of national spending on education.[3]

    The Haitian Educational System yields the lowest total rate in the education realm of the Western Hemisphere.[2] Haiti's literacy rate of about 61% (64.3% for males and 57.3% for females) is below the 90% average literacy rate for Latin American and Caribbean countries.[1]

    The country faces shortages in educational supplies and qualified teachers. The rural population is less educated than the urban.[2] The 2010 Haiti earthquake exacerbated the already constrained parameters on Haiti's educational system by destroying infrastructure and displacing 50–90% of the students, depending on locale.

    This less-than-optimal fact means most private schools are funded by American and Canadian missions, which end up educating about 90% of the students in Haiti. But, for the students who cannot afford to attend private institutions, it means that they are usually at a loss since the public education system is lacking in many respects.

What's kind of funny, is that I never considered race in everything I've said about Haiti. It never dawned on me. I guess that having three kids that are half latino, a daughter in law that is Jewish, and a daughter in law that is dual citizenship with Russia. I've worked with a complete mix of races and all five of the world's great religions, it's pretty fair to say I really don't give a shit about whom you live around.

    That was never a question in the conversation. You just wanted me to respond because if I respond to you, I'm your "friend." I'm not. And you like me calling you names, that must have been what mommy did to you. You're not enough, you're worthless, are a couple of examples as the things you "assume" are "acceptance" "terms" for you. They're not.

    You're going to choose what words you're most comfortable with. I know you would really like to be a "real" "man" but can't. You have to be acknowledged by someone that actually did something in their life that makes a difference, because "knowing' someone like that makes you feel better about yourself. If I would ever treat you like a "friend" that would be better. But you're not.

    The issue with you is that I'm starting to learn that abuse gives you sexual satisfaction, so just acknowledging you is sexual gratification. For someone that is over five years old, that's fucked up. And again, I understand you're not psychologically much older than that. That's why you talk and think like a six year old.

    Saying a nation of people has low IQs is in no way the same thing as saying they are poorly educated.


    • Saying that a nation of black people is poorly educated, as olde dude points out, speaks only to the system that is supposed to educate them.

    • Saying that a nation of black people has low IQs, as Donald Trump declares, is flaming, xenophobic, pig-ignorant racism.

    So ignoring their part in the on-going national disaster that is Donald Trump would be ignoring a great deal of the picture and those responsible. It's not bigotry to point out Trump's supporters' ignorance. It's simply voicing a fair and accurate assessment based on their words and actions.

    I do agree, the dog whistle must have sounded to mock conservatives. Because "as everyone knows" all conservatives that believe in helping the middle class, keeping parents informed what their children are doing in school, ending lawfare, and getting real jobs out there are all "MAGAsses." And then they make up a story about them regardless of race, ethnicity, or religion. "You ain't "really black" if you vote for trumpster is just EFFING Racist. So the bigots on the left are so tied into their own realm of bigotry, they can't see outside of it.

    The only people who want to get rid of the word "racist" (or "redefine" it like others keep trying to do) - are racists. OD does not understand what the word means or how it applies. He thinks lording over other races as their "saviour" in time of war makes him Mr. Diversity. Racial equality does not happen by one race having full control over the other's well being. Just like having a few people of mixed race or religion in your family does not make one a champion of racial harmony - it makes one an American. We all have different races and religions in our families.
