Okay, tell me if you think this tracks... Right after the first debate when Kryptonite Kamala (think it sounds better that way) destroyed Fat Boi, she started pushing for a second debate. Even though I don't think it's strange for her to want a second debate it struck me as kind of strange for a few reasons...

1) She didn't even take a moment to enjoy her victory

2) She won the first debate and might not need a second

3) It opens the door to possibly making a mistake or unforced error like Papa Bush looking at his watch

...so I put all the facts into the Indy Conspiracy Generator (ICG for short) to see if there were any possible conspiracy theories that might fit the scenario. Here's what I came up with...

Suppose Ms. Kryptonite doesn't really want a second debate. That seems to be a more sensible direction considering how thoroughly, comically and epically she destroyed Mayor McCheese the first time. So why ask for a second debate - and especially so soon? According to the ICG, it's another clever deception by the Kryptonite Kween (oh... look - did I hit on another winner so soon?) Doesn't matter. Why? Because no matter what happens... it's a win, win, win situation for her...

Scenario 1 - She actually does NOT want another debate:
She probably doesn't need the second debate. More NEW people will probably NOT be tuning in for a second debate if they didn't tune in for the first one. So if this is her true desire, the debate request might be an offensive strategy on her part... Trump will probably be hesitant to say yes because of the way everyone saw Kamala manipulating him directly into self harm in the first debate. That means he might be leaning towards a "no" to give the easily confused MAGA hats the impression she's NOT manipulating him. Or he might just want to avoid another ass kicking.

Scenario 2 - She doesn't care either way about another debate:
Clever girl... it makes no dif to her, so why not put the onus on the Trumpster Fire to make a decision? Either he says yes or he looks like he's scared of getting his butt kicked again. Meanwhile the media will be constantly peppering him with questions about whether or not he's going to agree to another one. Double whammy.

Scenario 3 - She actually DOES want another debate:
First off - she gets to kick his ass again and pick-up a another point in the polls (maybe). Secondly - if he does agree to debate - how is he going to explain that after all his "boxer talk"... "the boxer that loses is the one who asks for a rematch, not the winner!" If he won - why does he need to do another debate? Remember, he's already done TWO debates whereas she's only done ONE. What will the Orange Crushed crowd think? And third - of course - she gets to kick his ass again.

Sound plausible? Let me know what you think, folks - I'll be here all week with lots more of my usual insightful crazy talk / prescient predictions.

My cousin, was the editor of Wired then ran a hobby drone biz, as such he was interviewed occasionally on national TV. He said he always worried that he could inadvertently end his career with an unfortunate or misconstrued remark. There is more downside for Harris than upside in another debate.

Even though she said she wants another debate, she is probably happy Trump declined. Trump effectively said "no mas".

I did some TV with my sports pub. One time I did two “preview and review” before and after shows as a Super Bowl "expert" (Niners/Chargers ’95). The before game show - I'm with my friend (one of the co-hosts) and his on screen partner who I sorta knew from before. Okay - everything goes fine. Then for the after game show the following Monday - they switched the co-host without telling me. So there's this new guy I never met walking around the place. I'm in the bathroom washing my hands and unknown dude walks in and introduces himself - I shake his hand and introduce myself (using my real name). Now they call us in to shoot and there's my friend on set - but now bathroom guy is sitting between us instead of the original co-host (surprise!) My friend opens the show, then turns and introduces us. When he gets to me, he uses my nom de plume - the secret identity I used in the publication. Now new guy - his first time co-hosting - is confused and looking around like "WHO?" trying to figure out what’s happening. It threw him off his game until the first commercial break when I had a chance to explain it to him. 😃
