    Maybe you are correct, HtS. If it wasn't stated explicitly on the ballot, most voters understood that Harris was his running mate. Furthermore at 81, her replacing him was a very real possibility.

    You may have noticed that the only people complaining about Harris being the Democrats' nominee are Republicans. Democrats are overjoyed. Also, nobody voted from RFK Jr. ever. That didn't stop his presidential bid or Trump embracing him. The same goes for Cornel West and Jill Stein, they didn't appear on any primary ballots.

    The only people who voted for Gerald Ford before he became president were residents in and around Grand Rapids Michigan, and for his House seat. Before the advent of state primaries, nobody voted for the eventual nominees to be president.

    It's nothing compared to your long term love affair with Donald Trump. Many marriages don't last as long as your relationship with Trump. I wish my wife were as forgiving of me as you are of Donald Trump.

    Agree there's no equivalency because Kamala was actually voted into the White House, whereas Ford was handed the presidency without a single vote ever being cast for him. BIG difference - you finally got one right.
