Late yesterday, I went on to RCP to check the Trump v Biden match-up. Trump was up 2.9. I figured that's probably as big the gap is going to be, no new polls will come out over the holiday weekend. Then, the polls will even out some.
Wrong.
Today, Trump's up 3.3.
Factor in the truth that MAGAs lie to polsters. They don't say that they will vote Trump. In 020, RCP underestimated Trump's vote by 2.7%.
So add today's 3.3 to the 2.7. Is Trump really up 6.0?
Also. Consider. In 016, Hillary won the real-world popular vote by 2.1 and Trump won the Electoral College 304-227.
All this to ask: Can the Dems afford to let Joe be their candidate?
Dems have to know that. They can't sit on their hands for long.
