I thought this was one of those "file under fun facts" about what the government is doing. For those who think "Human Rights" and "War Crimes" are "somewhere else," it seems we have something else to think about among the drug dealers and child rapists and sex and human traffickers.
My guess is that few of us actually know much about the "War Crimes violators" as few Americans understand much about what happens globally.
JULY 1, 2024 WASHINGTON, DC ENFORCEMENT AND REMOVAL, HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATORS
ERO arrests 11 known or suspected human rights violators across US during national law enforcement action
WASHINGTON —
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 11 fugitives sought for their roles in known or suspected human rights violations during a nationwide operation from June 10 through June 14.
Enforcement and Removal Operations’ National Fugitive Operations Program, in coordination with the Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Center of Homeland Security Investigations and ICE’s Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, worked with ERO in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, El Paso, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York, Phoenix, Seattle, San Francisco and St. Paul to identify, locate and apprehend the known or suspected human rights violators.
Those arrested include:
Three people from Central America implicated in a variety of human rights violations against civilians and political opponents, including extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, intelligence gathering for violent regimes and attacks against civilian infrastructure.
Three people from Africa implicated in extrajudicial killings, rape, recruiting child soldiers and committing atrocities on behalf of governments in addition to supporting persecutor groups.
One person from Asia who admitted to targeting women for forced abortions and sterilizations, as well as physically abducting women while working on behalf of the ruling political party.
Two former members of paramilitary groups — one in Asia, another in the Caribbean — known to have committed serious human rights violations through violent repression and arresting people without cause and extorting civilians by use of force.
Two people from the Caucasus who admitted to organizing violent clashes with opposing political factions and targeting religious minorities for abuse.
MAY 9, 2023 WASHINGTON, DC ENFORCEMENT AND REMOVAL
ICE arrests 14 known or suspected human rights violators during national operation
WASHINGTON -
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) took targeted enforcement action against removable noncitizens, including those with a final order of removal, who present a danger to communities and have known or suspected roles in human rights violations during a nationwide operation, April 24-28. ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) National Fugitive Operations Program, in coordination with ICE’s Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) and National Criminal Analysis and Targeting Center, worked to identify, locate, and apprehend 14 individuals.
All foreign nationals arrested during this operation are subject to repatriation to their home countries. Those arrested included 10 known or suspected human rights violators from Central and South America, including individuals implicated in the torture and killing of civilians during military service and the enforced disappearances of individuals. Additionally, the operation resulted in the apprehension of four known or suspected human rights violators from Africa, Asia, and the Middle East connected to a range of atrocities, including the execution of political prisoners, murder, rape and mutilation, and massacres.

ICE arrests 33 with history of human rights violation across the US during Operation No Safe Haven IV
WASHINGTON —
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations arrested 33 fugitives sought for their roles in known or suspected human rights violations during a nationwide operation this week.
During the three-day operation that concluded Wednesday, the ICE National Fugitive Operations Program in coordination with the ICE Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Center and the ICE National Criminal Analysis and Targeting Center (NCATC), arrested these fugitives via the ICE field offices of Atlanta; Baltimore; Boston; Chicago; Denver; Detroit; Houston; Los Angeles; Miami; New Orleans; New York City; Philadelphia; Phoenix; Seattle; San Francisco; and St. Paul, Minnesota.
Those arrested across the country included:
Fourteen individuals from Central America implicated in numerous human rights violations against civilians, to include the capture, arrest and/or transport of civilians who were subsequently mistreated, and in some cases, beaten, electrocuted, and killed;
Four known or suspected human rights violators from China, complicit in collaborating with the government to assist in forced abortions and sterilizations against victims;
Four individuals from West Africa connected to a range of atrocities, including civilian massacres, mutilations, recruitment of child soldiers, extrajudicial killings, and other human rights violations.
An individual from Europe implicated in human rights abuses against political opponents through work with a security agency.
