Ahead of Thursday’s bout, Trump and his surrogates have cast Biden as an accomplished debater who has shown he can rise to the occasion. That’s not what Trump said before.

Here's the question pb has about the debate... and, to be fair, pb initially got the idea from someone on Fox News:

Will CNN leak the debate questions to the "dithering and diminished" Doddering Old Fool's string-pullers...

OR...

Will the string-pullers simply provide the questions Joe's prepared to answer directly to the, uh, "moderators" (wink wink)?

Don't think that one of the two ain't happnin.

What the stage in the aircraft hanger looks like, golf carts swooping around for "strategy" sessions, what they frigging had for dinner🙄. Somebody feels the need to tell us all of this that they don't have to. It's like someone loudly and profusely protesting at an accusation towards them. Maybe they protest too much. Again, I'm already over this. Unless someone has a heart attack, nothing will be earth shattering, nor will it change my vote. They both have a history. Nothing here is unknown or theoretical. They have both been in the position and performed as they did. Both sides have their "always" and "never" folks, nothing will happen with them. Regardless of what the other side says, they won't change. The "maybes" I guess are the folks they're trying to reach. You know that our progressives here will proclaim that Joe won the debate... and, perhaps, as Curt's already suggested, the election. I'm open minded. And, I'll be interested in observing your take, OD. One reason I entered this thread is to give an example how GOPs and MAGAs will neutralize... if... the Orange Turd falters. Of course, we know that the string-pullers have already rehearsed their own song and dance. It's all Swamp. Y'know that the CNN crew will help Joe along and abuse Trump as much as possible but that the bosses are praying to their higher powers for a Trump victory in November.
