HtS has said that he expects a certain amount of mendacity from politicians. Most people would agree with that.

According to the fact-checking website PolitiFact, both Joe Biden and Donald Trump are as likely to make a a mostly false statement a 20% each.

But Trump was more than twice as likely to make a completely false statement and more than eight times as likely to make a pants on fire false statement.

BIDEN
Mostly False 20%
False 17%
Pants on Fire 2%

TRUMP
Mostly False 20%
False 36%
Pants on Fire 17%

One relevant quote and one bahahahaha.

    1. In February 2011, University of Minnesota political science professor Eric Ostermeier analyzed 511 PolitiFact stories issued from January 2010 through January 2011. He found that the number of statements analyzed from Republicans and from Democrats was comparable, but Republicans had been assigned substantially harsher grades, receiving 'false' or 'pants on fire' more than three times as often as Democrats.

Can you say Swampcult Blue MAGA bias? Well, now, of course, you can't.

    2. This is so typically progressive. Assigning subjective judgments to the measurement of, uh, objective fact. Bahahahaha

Just curious. When, on the day after the C 17 take off from which two Afghanis fell after attempting to hold on to the side of the plane, Joe screamed at George Stephanopoulos that that happened 4 or 5 days ago. Was that Pants on Fire?

Boohoohoohoo hehehehehehehe hoohoohoohoohoohoo hehehehehehehe hahahahahaha hehehehehehehe hoohoohoohoohoohoo hehehehehehehe hoohoohoohoohoohoo hehehehehehehe hahahahahaha hehehehehehehe hoohoohoohoohoohoo hahahahahaha, ahhhhhh!

How did Dr. Ostermeier avoid the obvious conclusion that Republicans lie more often?
