Incidentally, on most issues, Indy and pb could not possibly disagree more but when they agree, the reeeeeeeeeeeally agree.

One of their earliest points of agreement was that OCare is a bad law.

All of us can agree that every American should have access to medical care. The way the ACA attempts to make that possible has been a disaster.

Trump promises to make changes. Good for him.

by Indy! on April 11, 2024 5:42 pm Trump promised to make changes last time around. He never brought it up on his own or did anything at all to try to kick start negotiations. But we do agree the ACA is a horrible law - all they did was codify the old system that didn't work and change a couple minor rules (like pre-existing conditions) because they had no choice if they didn't want to be overrun by mobs of angry patients. by oldedude on April 11, 2024 6:42 pm I agree. tentatively. So far, I'll not submit to a welfare class government system. Talking to the brits. They love the "basic features" of their system. No issue. They have a cold, they go in. AND we have seen quite a few procedures refused by the judicia's of their system regarding providing health care. IN FAIRNESS, this is also kinda done in the US system also. So I am against two animals at this point in my life. The VA. A panther that strikes in the night without provocation. and the Tigre of the system of the "US". I know indy hates the US system. That's fair. What would you do different to produce a better system? Big question. Please be specific. I am very anti VA. Since I started talking about this, my left hip is bone-to-bone. The head of my femur is "egg" shaped. That means every time I move my hip, it takes bone out of my pelvis and makes it worse to replace my hip. The VA has not chosen to replace my left hip. Which would keep them from paying for it. So they're waiting until I fix it to pay for anything regarding it. They finally decided to say that my IBS and the thousands of dollars figuring out how to deal with it is now a subject they "assume" guilt of. For everything related to "That piece" they will pay 30% of. Including drugs that are basic drugs that are either free (before the "reduction", or $5 for every 90 days. from Aug/2024. so very little..... Go To Top
