by oldedude on December 1, 2023 9:11 am Funny, I had a break so I was just looking at an article on this! Good news though. I will be greatly disappointed if he doesn't do a federal trial. That would be a crime against our justice system. He has 13 wire fraud charges (which to curt mean nothing). I'd love to see the BSA on it. My bet is that he isn't smart enough to make it hard for the investigators. I wonder how many charges of money laundering, layering, etc they can find on him. Knowing how the banking laws are applied, I'd love for the case to go to the Southern District of NY, he'd be toast. If they put him in CA, he'll be off scott free. I'm hoping for SDNY. They can put him up for 130 years for just the wire fraud (which they won't, but it's good to hope) just on the wire fraud.
