by oldedude on May 27, 2023 7:09 am In the same interview curt referenced, Ron was asked about Casey being attacked. Ron's answer was that they were honored to think she's that much of a threat to trumpster and the left. I'm sad they would think that was a good target, but welcome to politics. After the attacks on Melania, I would have figured trumpster would have laid off of Casey. The people of FL really like her as a first Lady. And God forbid opponents attack the children (although they have). I think Ron is going to give the GOP a trumpster option. Someone that has a plan that works. And with that, a superstructure of a way Americans can understand. Once money is expired, the money is not kept. Congress needs to ask the public if the public believes they want to spend money on a new thing. That has never happened in US history. Can he get the debt under control? I think so without murdering the middle class and poor. He doesn't throw money to minorities (which is racist). He lays out a plan to get them employed. He believes that everyone needs the tools to live the American dream. This is the huge feature that brought black and Latino voters to him. Treating them with respect, not handouts. If he took Scott as a VP, THAT would be a winning combo. They already know and like each other. Their goals are the same. Scott is more domestically driven, Ron has the international experience and knowhow. He also knows the military and the fact you don't send in SEAL Team VI to guard buildings. You don't send in the Marines to do a suicide mission.
