Yeah, we all know that a good many Americans yourself included do not believe in democracy

  2. by HatetheSwamp on May 3, 2023 9:39 am

    Exactly!

Joe wartn't prayin. He were PREACHIN!

  3. by oldedude on May 3, 2023 10:01 am
My thought is that he said exactly what he thought. "His" crooked view of the liberal's dimocracy, vs the view of the founders and a republic.

I would have thought though, on the "National day of Prayer" he should have done more with prayer to whatever God you worship. You know, a message of connection. Something we can look at and say "we're all in this together." instead of the CCP message that there is no God and you should worship the state. But of course to the sheep, that doesn't make any sense. Especially in their anti-theocracy rants.

The Declaration of Independence asserts that we are endowed by our Creator with inalienable rights.

That National Day of prayer stuff.

The first two guarantees in Bill of Rights promise freedom from governmental interference on religion and the free exercise of religion.

That's National Day of Prayer stuff.

Our government is not a democracy though it could have been.

    Still, the string pullers insist...

"Democracy is worth dying for, because it's the most deeply honorable form of government ever devised by man." ---Ronald Reagan

"In America, our origins matter less than our destination, and that is what democracy is all about." ---Ronald Reagan

"This democracy of ours, which sometimes we've treated so lightly, is more than ever a comfortable cloak, so let us not tear it asunder, for no man knows, once it is destroyed, where or when he will find its protective warmth again." ---Ronald Reagan

"Since the foundation of the State of Israel, the United States has stood by her and helped her to pursue security, peace, and economic growth. Our friendship is based on historic moral and strategic ties, as well as our shared dedication to democracy." ---Ronald Reagan

"We're approaching the end of a bloody century plagued by a terrible political invention, totalitarianism. Optimism comes less easily today, not because democracy is less vigorous, but because democracy's enemies have refined their instruments of repression." ---Ronald Reagan

    Bahahahahahahahahahaha baha baha baha.

And yet curt has never lifted a finger to actually fight for the Republic... And he doesn't know the difference.

Agreed, but when you're a major part of the plagued by terrible political interpenetration and totalities, you should really rethink your obtuse support of the republic, and know so little about it, you might want to rethink that. Among even the ruse of supporting anything constitutional.

    THIS is Presidential.

    From Tulsi:

"Regarding the National Day of Prayer: We need God and spiritual strength now more than ever. So, every day should be National Prayer Day because it is only when Americans as individuals and as a country take shelter in God that we can find the wisdom, courage, and love that we so badly need."

Coming from her, that's pretty all inclusive. Good message also.

  11. by HatetheSwamp on May 4, 2023 7:06 am

    Indeed.

  12. by Ponderer on May 4, 2023 7:09 am

Curt, all those Reagan quotes totally nailed Hate in his tracks. But you need to always remember how pointless showing him up is. He is a stupid dog that only barks at your hand when you try to point at something for him to look at.

And Bill, other than being allowed to exist unhindered, Christianity has no business being a foundation of any part of our legal system. Our Constitution also keeps that from happening. I mean my God!, Christianity has already been so unconstitutionally and immorally weaponized far too much against the American citizenry as it is. Especially in that last year or so.

  13. by HatetheSwamp on May 4, 2023 7:54 am

    po,

When did I refer to effin CHRISTIANITY!!!!?

I've been posting here since looooooooong before you showed up and continually since, pb don't think this should be, nor ever was, a Christian nation.

Certainly, lovely Tulsi ain't advocating a Christian nation.

The truth is, apart from your hate, I agree with you.

  14. by oldedude on May 4, 2023 8:30 am
I'm just sayin, she completely missed our point with Tulsi... Maybe it was too much.

  15. by Ponderer on May 4, 2023 8:36 am

"Regarding the National Day of Prayer: We need God and spiritual strength now more than ever. So, every day should be National Prayer Day because it is only when Americans as individuals and as a country take shelter in God that we can find the wisdom, courage, and love that we so badly need." -Tulsi Gabbard's words Hate agrees with

OH! I'm sorry, Bill! Forgive me. I suppose I must recognize the possibility that Tulsi was referring to Shiva or Allah when she was talking about God then. 🙄

You said what she said was "presidential". Whose "God" (the proper name for the Christian god) do you think an ersatz MAGA Republican like her would ever be referring to in such a statement other than the Christian religion's...?

"Certainly, lovely Tulsi ain't advocating a Christian nation." -Hate

In a pig's eye she ain't. And you know it.

  16. by HatetheSwamp on May 4, 2023 8:46 am

    po,

    Tulsi's Hindu.

  17. by Ponderer on May 4, 2023 8:50 am

Which makes her even more of a hypocrite.

  18. by HatetheSwamp on May 4, 2023 9:12 am

Hypocrite involves saying one thing and doing the opposite. What's your point? How's Tulsi a hypocrite?

  19. by oldedude on May 4, 2023 10:14 am
    You're saying she doesn't have a God?

Or is it just easier to retract your statement. I would definitely choose the latter.

  20. by HatetheSwamp on May 4, 2023 10:21 am

    OD,

Bud Light ain't retracting. po ain't neither.
