NBC

according to two sources familiar with the matter who spoke with NBC News.

Two officials in the FBI also told NBC News there is "growing frustration" at the agency over the fact that investigators completed their inquiry about a year ago.

Obviously, the whistleblower is for real. My guess is that there's much more dirt than this...

The whistleblower may be real but the reasons there hasn't been any prosecution isn't so obvious.

Not all arrests and investigations lead to prosecutions. U.S. attorneys declined to prosecute 22% of matters concluded in FY 2021. The cases most likely to be declined were property fraud (45%) and regulatory public order (44%) offenses. (See Federal Justice Statistics, 2020 (NCJ 304314, BJS, May 2022).)

I think today's sworn testimony was far clearer than expected. It exposed the LIES by the BIDEN CRIME FAMILY. I'm sorry, sworn testimony, which the sheeple claim is true and not formed by political ideals. The IRS guy is very strong in his testimony, and is just asking for his "rights" which should be given to him. To get him to be a whistleblower, he will either retire quickly and quietly, or he'll be chickenshitted out of federal service. Apparently, he's ready to give up his career for what he thinks is right.

Spies who lie: 51 ‘intelligence’ experts refuse to apologize for discrediting true Hunter Biden story

The officials, including CNN pundit and professional fabricator James Clapper — a man who was nearly charged for perjury for lying to Congress — signed a letter saying that the laptop “has the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

What proof did they have? By their own admission, none. “We do not know if the emails... are genuine or not,” the letter said. They’re just “suspicious.” Why? Because they hurt Biden’s campaign, that’s evidence enough."

Keep in mind this was written Oct. 19, 2020, five days after The Post published its first story. Neither Joe Biden nor Hunter Biden had denied the story, they simply deflected questions. Didn’t these security experts think that if this was disinformation, the Biden campaign would have yelled to the heavens that the story was false?

That Twitter didn't instantly carry the NY Post's laptop story has been an excuse for conservatives to whine they are victims but it doesn't make a much sense.

The NY Post website is in the top 100 most visited websites in the US. It's number three among online newspapers. The print edition of the NY Post has the fourth largest circulation in America. Not to mention other Murdoch properties including FOX News and the Wall Street Journal carried the story. So it's not as if the laptop story wasn't available to the public.

Actually, it's the lack of interest of the sheep on the left to see this was a directed effort by the pedojoe administration and the leadership of the US intel world. In one sentence. The 51 people that signed the "Russian collusion Theory" were in the collusion themselves. They penned the letter with (literally) LIES to cover for the "administration."

This week, Blinken was implicated in a political coverup that could well have made the difference in the 2020 election. According to the sworn testimony of former acting CIA Director Michael Morrell, Blinken – then a high-ranking Biden campaign official – was “the impetus” of the false claim that the Hunter Biden laptop story was really Russian disinformation. Morrell then organized dozens of ex-national security officials to sign the letter claiming that the Hunter laptop story had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

Ex-CIA Boss: Biden Team Sparked Effort to Kill Hunter Laptop Story
    EHRAN (FNA)-

Hunter Biden became the center of renewed political controversy after it emerged former acting CIA Director Mike Morell helped organize a letter by 50 intelligence community figures, ahead of the 2020 presidential election, suggesting leaked emails from Hunter's laptop were Russian disinformation.
Morrell made the confession in private sworn testimony to the House Judiciary Committee, saying he acted after speaking to Antony Blinken, then part of the Biden campaign and now secretary of state, because he wanted Joe Biden to "win the election", Newsweek reported.

Ex-CIA chief spills on how he got spies to write false Hunter Biden laptop letter to ‘help Biden’

Joe Biden’s presidential campaign prompted former acting CIA Director Mike Morell to “help Biden” by organizing 50 colleagues to sign a letter in October 2020 falsely claiming that damning emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop published by The Post were Russian disinformation.

In private sworn testimony, Morell told the House Judiciary Committee that Antony Blinken, now secretary of state, was the senior campaign official who reached out to him “on or before” Oct. 17, 2020, three days after The Post published an email from the laptop suggesting Hunter had introduced his Ukrainian business partner to his father, then-Vice President Biden.

Morell, identified as a potential CIA director under Biden, said he organized the letter to “help Vice President Biden … because I wanted him to win the election.”

Until Blinken’s call, Morell told House investigators, he had no intention of writing any statement exonerating Biden.

First off Robert Mueller, the special counsel, found that Russia did interfere with the election, but “did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple efforts from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign.”

As for the “Joe Biden scandal” as you see it, you’re still several steps away from having anything that could be said, impacts the presidency. So far the most you guys have got is that charges are being considered against the president’s son. That’s why to the chagrin of you Trumpers most of America was not especially interested in the Hunter Biden laptop story.

This week HtS proudly pointed out the Donald Trump has not been convicted of any crimes. Make that yet. Trump has been indicted in one case. He faces the possibility of criminal indictment in three or four other cases. His chief bookkeeper took the fall for Trump Corporation malfeasance and serve time at Rikers. Birds of a feather flock together, and there are about half a dozen people in trumps orbit, who have been convicted of crimes, and Trump pardoned most of them.

  11. by HatetheSwamp on April 22, 2023 11:56 am

    Curt,

HtS thinks that Trump is despicable. But, all of you, as Indy'd say, Blue MAGAs have screamed that Trump's sky is falling so many times that believing it has been impossible for a looooooooong time...unless, of course, one's impaired by derangement.

As far as "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap's" concerned, if there's even the slightest shred of truth to what James Comer and Jim Jordan have been claiming on Fox, which comports with Miranda Devine's reporting, and, knowing what's being reported about the IRS whistleblower, it's looking bad. Certainly, it may all be smoke, but my guess is, it ain't.

  12. by Curt_Anderson on April 22, 2023 12:18 pm
    HtS,
That big "if" in your second paragraph hasn't produced any fruit. Even if it does amount to something, reportedly it concerns Hunter Biden's taxes and maybe a gun permit application. None of is likely to implicate Joe Biden.

  13. by HatetheSwamp on April 22, 2023 1:03 pm

    Well, Curt, I don't think it's a big if, but we'll see.

I caught the Tony Bobulinski interview. Comer and Jordan and Devine all tell stories very similar to what he alleged. His story has Joe being :the Big Guy," receiving untold $10,000s in graft.

And, certainly, they could all be lying and this is the 020s' "vast right wing conspiracy" that Hillary dreamed up 25 years ago. But, more and more, it seems to me that "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" is a typically corrupt Swamp politician who's had the bad fortune to be exposed through the activities of his crackhead son.

So lets see what you're refusing to.
    1. First off Robert Mueller, the special counsel, found that Russia did interfere with the election,
Okay, besides him, please enlighten us with some facts.

    2. “did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple efforts from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign.”
Okay, So TRUMP and the campaign did not interfere. Fine. He is very careful NOT to talk about pedojoe. And this also confirms what the 51 IA heads said. There was no Russian collusion! You just proved yourself wrong or you sidestepped. Either way, what was just said under oath is that BIDEN MANUFACTURED THE RUSSIAN COLLUSION HOAX WITH THE IAs.

I know that your jackboots don't allow (somehow) to actually see fact. The admission by the intel community is that the "president of the US" ran an illegal campaign of corruption to unseat a political opponent that probably changed the outcome of the election. Isn't that what you said Trump did? With much worse "evidence?" We know at the pinnacle of this is the pedojoe crime family. And even if not the family (at this point) the "VP" was using his power to unseat a political opponent using graft and corruption. Using the IC to do this is the same as the NAZIs using the Gestapo to jail an opponent so they don't run. I guess it's no wonder you won't see the problem with it.

  15. by Curt_Anderson on April 22, 2023 4:38 pm
    OD,
I never said there was proven collusion. It's been established with a formal federal inquiry that Russia interfered with the 2016 election. I suppose you take pride in the fact that you and Putin preferred the same candidate in the last two presidential elections.

“We assess that Russia is using a range of measures to primarily denigrate former Vice President Biden and what it sees as an anti-Russia ‘establishment.’ This is consistent with Moscow’s public criticism of him when he was Vice President for his role in the Obama Administration’s policies on Ukraine and its support for the anti-Putin opposition inside Russia,” [William R. Evanina, director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center] added.

Why would Mueller talk about Biden? Biden was not in office while he was the special counsel. Are you confusing the Mueller investigation with Trump's first impeachment?

"...the "president of the US" ran an illegal campaign of corruption to unseat a political opponent that probably changed the outcome of the election." --OD

I guess that by "president of the US [who] ran an illegal campaign of corruption" you mean then-candidate Biden, or did you mean then-President Trump? After all, Trump is the one under investigation in two cases for corruptly attempting to undermine the presidential election.

who in the hell do you think. and it was (former) Vice "president" pedojoe. So he was an elected official that created this with the help of the IC to throw the election. Talk about government interference.

This is why lead loses patience. Inane, asinine questions that you already know. It's a sharpshooting technique that middle-schoolers to fuk with teachers. It's interesting that the IC would know they were lying, and still put out the lie as their "word" about the subject. And you still believe them and the letter. Go back to your heroes. You know, maduro, Pol Pot, the castro brother, and vlad to see how they operate. Put on your jackboots. You're a good NAZI, doing everything they want you to do. Outing people that weren't wearing masks like your formers did to the Jews, Poles and others. I actually think you believe in what you're saying though, which is more than a tad worrisome. You're going to be one of those that turns in their own family because they aren't "party members."

  17. by Curt_Anderson on April 22, 2023 6:42 pm
    OD,
I trust you can understand why I was perplexed. You meant to say "the former vice-president of the US" ran an illegal campaign of corruption..." Now that we have that clarified, I hadn't heard that the Biden was charged with running an illegal campaign of corruption. You'd think that even liberal news sources would have reported that story instead of replaying Trump's perfect phone call looking for "11,780 votes" in Georgia.

Assuming you are correct, I wonder why the intelligence community was hellbent on getting Trump out of office. Do you think it was concern for national security that motivated them?

I think I know where people got the idea that Trump was Russia's preferred candidate....

  18. by HatetheSwamp on April 23, 2023 3:31 am

I wonder why the intelligence community was hellbent on getting Trump out of office. Do you think it was concern for national security that motivated them?

Nuthin could be more obvious. Trump posed the greatest threat to the Swamp in American history, by far. There was nuthin related to "national" security in it at all. It was all about protecting and preserving the Swamp.

  19. by oldedude on April 23, 2023 5:45 am
I adamantly agree. I guess to us, we actually see the concert of the swamp. The fact is that pedojoe can be manipulated by the IC. So as a quid pro quo, they did this for him. They were asked to, they knew he "owed" them something of value to be collected later. Much like the Italian Mafioso.

I don't think Trump asked for such a deal. I also think Trump was naive in this case. He was trying to stay clean, maybe because they didn't trust them (as he shouldn't) to make and keep any deal.

We are also getting a clearer understanding the question to Zelensky (that he was "impeached for), is now becoming more rational. This will get to the point where Trump may be exonerated of the charges because there IS a there there, which is starting to come out of the fog.

As far as Curt is concerned. This is the correct way to take down organized crime. Start with the low- hanging fruit. Stuff you can prove easily and that outlines the CCE/ RICO without saying that. Then all you have to do is to tie the money part into the pedophile at the top.

  20. by HatetheSwamp on April 23, 2023 7:41 am

    Agreed, OD. Entirely.
