Minutes after Trump said he wouldn’t run and hide, he runs and hides.

I don't care what anybody says. Trump's trials won't help his poll numbers.

We don’t really know Joe Biden or Donald Trump. Maybe we should listen to those who do.

Nice article from that gay Guy Curt never heard of.

Would this be more or less shameless than the ludicrous and surreal White House talking point from awhile back that claimed it's actually the Republicans who are real the "defund the police" party? I'm open to arguments on both sides, because it's something of a jump ball. Remember, Joe Biden had personally endorsed one central "defund" step, back when it was politically fashionable, around the same time Kamala Harris was urging her social media followers to donate to a radical bail fund that works to get violent criminals and rioters out of jail. The "defund" movement is an exclusively left-wing project, championed by some of the loudest so-called progressive voices in the country. But because the GOP opposed a giant, inflationary spending binge that included some CYA law enforcement funding, the Biden brain trust decided that they'd try to use that dynamic to pin the "defund" label on the GOP. Outside of a few journalists, nobody took it seriously, of course, because it was patently unserious on its face...

Benson is waaaaaaaaaay more conservative than is pb but he's, in pb's opinion, the most careful thinking conservative in media.

No, I don’t remember that. I’m calling bs on that. When did Joe Biden advocate defunding the police at any level?

I think the conservative members of the GOP (MAGA? I think is inaccurate) endorse the constitutional guidelines. One of the main charges of the federal government according to the constitution is defending the country. Unlike what the sheep think, we are actually a sovereign nation. That is wholly the federal government's job.

Another issue is declaring the Mexican Cartels part of the International Terrorist network. That was someone's brainchild. I don't disagree with the premise, as they do work with our adversaries and other terrorist organizations. The issue is how we, as a nation, fight it.

I don't see us going into Mexico to fight them, although if we do declare them ITO, then they're harboring terrorists in violation of international agreements. I do appreciate using PATRIOT Act tools against them though.

We do give the Brits a lot of help with the IRA (a declared terrorist organization as well as PIRA, etc). We rarely, if at all go into Britain to chase their bad guys, although we may send someone that knows the target.

So I actually looked this up. It's another one of pedojoe's lies about the GOP. What happened was he gave a number of "immigrants" he wanted to let in, the GOP wanted fewer. Therefore, he says, they want to cut the USBP budget, which isn't accurate at all. He wanted 100 more "border patrol" slots (inclusive of admin, intel, etctecetc), where USBP needs 2,000 Agents to replace the number that have left for a multitude of reasons.

So this is nothing but budget "negotiations" and lies.

    OD,
House Republicans have already said that they are not going to touch Social Security, Medicare or defense. That means they have to cut everything else to balance the budget as they promised.

Anyway, the House hasn't presented their budget proposal, let's see if they
    "cut border security or something".

Btw, Social Security could be saved for future generations if we allow more immigrants into America.

Your hated MAGAs want nothing more than to severely enhance border security. I know you have to make them look bad with "what if's" but I don't think that anywhere close to any sort of known reality. Except in pedojoe's feeble mind. And the rest of his flock.
