Alaska Republican Touts Benefits of Children Being Abused to Death

David Eastman... “the death of child abuse victims could be "a cost savings," because it would mean they don't need "government services" later in life.

 Republican David Eastman, who sits in the Alaska House of Representatives, made the comment on Monday during a House Judiciary Committee hearing.

I’m glad to see od and Hate gradually distancing themselves from the GOP and its MAGAS !!!

Now they are even willing to say they despise Trump and that they are different from other GOPs.

Lets all extend kudos to od and Hate as they continue on their path to enlightenment and gain a better understanding of the errors that come from supporting the wrong team!!

Here’s an attaboy and a pat on the back to you both !!! 🍻

And the good news is that this currant crop of MAGA Republicans and their steadfast followers are loosing the support of many more of the sane GOPs as they too become more enlightened!



I think that our grandchildren will be reading about this in their history books as “The Second Age of Enlightenment”
 !!

Of course a simple google search with the words David Eastman death child abuse victims will bring up a number of links. What Eastman attempted to do 'after the fact' was to say that he was comparing his statements about saving the state money to the idea of abortion saving the state money, "but neither Storrs nor Eastman’s fellow legislators understood his comment because the issue of abortion never arose; Eastman never made the analogy he subsequently said he intended.". alaskapublic.org by islander on February 23, 2023 12:42 pm ”He was stating an obvious fact. What was the context?” ~ Donna What I was pointing out was how this corresponds to the conservative Republicans seemingly never ending attempts to save the state money by cutting spending on our social safety nets, which is the aid we give to those most in need, which of course will hurt children the most. This idea that was made popular by their creation of the myth of the ‘welfare queen’ and the idea that people who get food stamps for example, are cheating us since they can stay home and not work but they can, with their food stamps, fill their grocery carts with things that we working people could never afford, by oldedude on February 23, 2023 12:42 pm I this this is at least hilarious since I've been the one harping on sexual abuse of immigrants, and the hatred of child abusers. Curt on the other hand has always dismissed the sexual abuse as "not everyone does it so it's okay" type of "reasoning."
