Our progressive SwampLovers have had it easy since OrangeMan rode down that escalator back in 015. Trump is a narcissist and a bully. It's easy to see that he's despicable. It's tempting to oppose him so strongly that you become irrational and slip into a state of derangement...as all of SS's current progressives did a long time ago.
Being sanctimonious about Trump and his supporters was too easy a temptation for most progressives. All of you who are here succumbed looooooooong ago. You're irritatingly both annoying and, nonetheless, cute.
The problem is that progressives are attempting that easy Orangie sanctimony with Ron DeSantis and it ain't workin. It won't work. DeSantis has handed progressives their heads early in the Covid brouhaha when the SwampMedia reported that he was corrupt in distributing vaxes: 60 Minutes' faces backlash from Democrats and Publix for critical story on Florida's vaccine rollout. More recently, he effin destroyed progressives and their SwampMedia over their Don't Say Gay silliness.
Just yesterday, to the hate-filled, baseless and ill-informed protests of the left, the College Board removed objectionable, woke content from its AP African American history syllabus to accommodate DeSantis...and the MILLIONS who were outraged when he brought the offenses to light.
What did our progressives here come up with? DeSantis won't allow Florida high schoolers find out about the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.. Bahahahahahahahahahaha.

So. A word to the wise to all SS progressive SwampLovers: Recalibrate your sanctimony. DeSantis ain't OrangeMan. DeSantis has his BA from Yale and his JD from Harvard. And, he has an exquisite sense of knowing how to pick the hills he'll die on.
He's undefeated. He's Mercy Ruled progressives and their SwampMedia three times now. He's good at it. He's smarter than you. And, clearly, he has a good time doing it.
So. Gang! Recalibrate. Or, you'll be bigger Fool's than you seemed in the past.
