Ahhhhhhhh.... the days when the dims only had to worry about the "black vote." This goes along with my extroidinarily long post about all the crime the dims are accountable for with the black population. We should just name this "rerun."

Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX) on Wednesday blasted Democrats‘ “bias toward conservative Latinas” after it was reported that Flores, the first Mexican-born woman ever elected to Congress, was denied acceptance to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) because she’s a Republican.

The CHC confirmed to the Texas Tribune that Flores was denied entry because she’s a Republican, after Townhall first reported the reason for the rejection based on sourcing.

“As the first Mexican-born American Congresswoman, I thought the Hispanic Caucus would be open in working together,” the Republican reacted to the Townhall report via Twitter. “This denial once again proves a bias toward conservative Latinas that don’t fit their narrative or ideology.”

As the first Mexican-born American Congresswoman, I thought the Hispanic Caucus would be open in working together. This denial once again proves a bias towards conservative Latinas that don’t fit their narrative or ideology.

The caucus is exclusively made up of Democrats, and refuses to accept Republicans, including Flores, the Tribune confirmed Wednesday.

Bylaws from the Democrats’ CHC (sic) explicits ban Republicans, a caucus spokesperson told the outlet, while refusing to comment further on Flores’ request to join, which came earlier this month.

So? Democrats aren't allowed to have Democrats-only groups?

  2. by Donna on October 27, 2022 6:59 am

Plus, your headline is a lie. It says right in your post that she was denied membership because she's a Republican, not because she's Hispanic.

  3. by HatetheSwamp on October 27, 2022 7:09 am

I thought that, too. It's not racism. It's much more insidious.

You Blue MAGA Swampcultists run yourself like an Inquisition.

Clearly, the GOP is the new home of openness and tolerance and inclusion.

    That changed in the 1990's, when there were no GOP members. MY POINT is that they need to at least rename the caucus. Also, if you continue in the article, it says;

"Rep. Vincente Gonzales (D-TX), the Democrat congressman who ran against Flores for her Texas House seat, paid a blogger who referred to his opponent as “Miss Frijoles,” “cotton-pickin’ liar,” and even more vile insults, according to report from NBC published over the summer.

Gonzales paid $1,200 to the McHale Report Blog on June 24 for “advertising services.” After the payment, the blog has repeatedly and viciously attacked Flores, calling her “Miss Frijoles” over 20 times, The Daily Wire reported.

“My far left opponent, Vincent Gonzalez, hired a local blogger to run hateful & racist ads against me,” Flores tweeted at the time. “But, I love frijoles & I grew up eating frijoles. I am not embarrassed of my upbringings & frijoles w/tortillas de harina is simply the best. Here’s to Miss Frijoles 2022.”"

I wonder why Flores didn't join the Congressional Hispanic Conference instead.

  6. by oldedude on October 27, 2022 8:25 am
That's the one she tried to join. That's why I said they ought to change their name.

"...Flores, the first Mexican-born woman ever elected to Congress, was denied acceptance to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) because she’s a Republican."

  7. by Donna on October 27, 2022 8:36 am

You didn't read what I said carefully. The Congressional Hispanic Conference is the Republican version of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

  8. by Donna on October 27, 2022 9:02 am

The only reason I can think of why she didn't join the Congressional Hispanic Conference instead of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus was to fool people like Hts into believing the lies the The Daily Wire published.

Btw, the MAGA candidate ads here in AZ are rife with lies.

So are the one's in FL against the GOP. Crispy is lying as much as fetterman was about oz. It's been all about scare tactics and lies from the dims. It's the only thing they have here. Crispy tried to say DiSantis wasn't ready for the Hurricane, then the Governor came back with the facts. Crispy didn't have a chance. Most of the lies have been about abortion. But since we have a law that was passed by the house and senate, and signed, it's been a moot point since before RvW got overturned.

It's kind of interesting. I was watching dim election commercials. They are the same, regardless of the facts, with only the names being changed and different pictures. They should have done a better job if people actually know facts.

Congresswoman born in Mexico is not listed as a member on any Republican caucuses. That includes the The Congressional Hispanic Conference, a Republican sponsored caucus in the United States Congress. Racism?

So someone that refused a street officer's sworn testimony is saying this... What does that tell you...
