Now? Forty years of invading the privacy of Aretha. C'mon man! How about a little RESPECT.

Aretha was apparently followed by the FBI starting in the J. Edgar Hoover era and vestiges of that surveillance for another three decades. Likewise your complaints about the Democrats usually mention Tammany Hall which had it's heyday in the 1890's. On the other hand, of entities and people that you support, the GOP and Trump for instance, you ignore and discount even his most recent courtroom convictions and decisions. The FBI and its agents tend to conservative and uber patriotic. They probably were suspicious of Aretha's civil rights activities.
