That's me.
I'm a GOP but like about half of the GOPs in 022, I'm not Ultra-MAGA nor MAGA...nor even Micro-MAGA. I support Ron DeSantis for President in 024. I also like Nikki Haley. But, if Trump is the GOP nominee in 024, and, unless the Dems nominate anyone but Tulsi or someone very much like her, I'll vote for Trump, then step outside the polling place and blow chow.
Like no one else who posts here, save, perhaps, OD, I have no strong emotional connection to Trump.
Unlike po and isle, especially, but also Curt and Donna, I'm able not to like Trump yet also be objective about him.
(I wish po and isle, et.al., had not been so hateful toward genuine MAGAs so that there are none remaining on SS.)
So, here's my intellectual advantage over you TDSers here:
Because my dislike for Trump is not deranged, irrational hate, I think I, very likely, see the truth about the unprecedented raid on the home of the sitting President’s chief rival in the next election.
1. Merrick Garland is, as Alan Derschowitz is saying, the real bad guy in this chain of events. There's, truly, a thread of fascism in his tenture as Attorney General.
2. Trump’s not going to be convicted of a crime. If Garland is truly insane, he may seek an indictment. He may even get one, but, take it to the bank, by the time this mess is ultimately resolved, Trump’s will not be found guilty of a crime.
3. The judgment of history, in the end, will be that Trump, while not criminally liable for his handling of classified material, even if he declassified it, was unwise, even foolish.
4. The laws concerning the handling of sensitive materials by former presidents, will be tightened up in a bipartisan way.
