The Five is killing it in the ratings. It's, by far, the highest rated cable show. Dana Perino is, perhaps, the most compelling reason for that.
Perino is one of the few Fox personalities who functions primarily as a journalist, not a commentator. Even on The Five, she strains to do opinion.
So, Greg Gutfeld is on vacation this week. His late night show now regularly beats all of his broadcast competition. Other beloved Fox personalities are taking a night to sit in his chair.
Last night, his fill-in was Dana Perino. I cringed a little when I heard that. I expected her to embarrass herself.
The show has good writers. They did a good job for her.
If you have an ounce of reason left in your Trump deranged brain, watch the first few minutes of her monolog.
