It's not being reported, but I predict that the public will learn that some highly secret documents are missing from Mar-a-Lago.

With the very real possibility of Trump facing criminal charges and the inevitable delay tactics by Trump's legal team, I would think even Republicans are smart enough not to nominate a presidential candidate who is facing the possibility of jail time at worst and a protracted criminal trial at best.

When FBI agents searched Mar-a-Lago earlier this month, they found classified documents sitting in unsecured locations despite assurances from Donald Trump’s team that any such files taken from the White House had been placed under lock and key.

That new revelation comes from The Wall Street Journal, which cited “people familiar with the matter”. If true, it’s another nail in the coffin being constructed by the Justice Department.

What's interesting is the FBI is the worst at leaking information. Worse than Trump. Everything you've "received" by an "anonymous" person is leaking information about the case. That's illegal. I know you don't care, and it's a little strange. Trump can run off the mouth as much as he wants. Flip side is when the FBI "Leaks" something, that is considered prejudicing the potential jury in the case. My view is that with someone like Trump, it's really hard to do that. He's got a mouth and he chides his opponents. But in their position, Prosecution should keep their mouth shut. But they can't. It's the nature of the Bureau.

You're guessing that it was the FBI that leaked. It could have been somebody associated with Trump and/or at the Mar-a-Lago. Trump apparently suspects that there is an informant, "a mole", within Trump's circle.

Taking him down "illegally" is not necessary.

Taking him down in the totally legal way that he's currently being taken down in is more than adequate for the task. There is nothing illegal about any of it. There has been nothing illegal about the FBI warrant that was enforced at Mara Lago. There's no need to gild any lilies when Trump's crimes are at issue.
