Schumer Accidentally Reveals Why The FBI Raided Trump
"It goes without saying that the FBI’s entry onto former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate has sent shockwaves through the right, with several prominent figures, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Marco Rubio, and GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, excoriating senior officials like DOJ Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray and saying that the U.S. is a “banana republic.”
Despite the fact that some Democrats were jubilant over the information of what appears to be a politically motivated search intended in part to prevent Trump from running for re-election in 2024 should he decide to do so, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) had various thoughts about what happened at Trump’s Florida home.

However, later in the day, Schumer gave away the game, suggesting that Republicans will suffer a loss in the election as a result of this and stating that he felt Democrats should make use of the raid “as an issue” in the future months, adding without any obvious sense of irony or self-awareness: “The protection of democracy and the rule of law are major issues here, and we better be careful if we give Republicans control in either the House or Senate.”
Schumer, of course, neglected to mention that many Democrats are terrified that the GOP will take back the House and Senate in the fall not just because they’re concerned their “woke” domestic agenda will be thwarted but also because they are genuinely concerned that Republicans will hold intelligence agencies accountable and in a very public and humiliating manner for how they’ve worked in collaboration with powerful Democratic figures to weaponize their agencies into political revenge operations, especially during the last six years or so."
Well..... let's see. Parents concerned about what their kids are learning in school. Garland brands the "Domestic Terrorists" which clicks a whole bunch of things in DOB, Homeland Security, Treasury, and a bunch other agencies that shall not be named.
