🙄 Did she really get her GED diploma?

(The Hill)Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) says she is “tired” of the long-standing separation between church and state in the U.S., adding that she believes “the church is supposed to direct the government.”

In a Sunday speech at the Cornerstone Christian Center in Basalt, Colo., ahead of her primary election on Tuesday, Boebert argued that “the government is not supposed to direct the church,” falsely claiming that dividing religion from the system of government was not what the Founding Fathers intended.

    Y'know, she has a point.

The phrase "wall of separation..." comes from Thomas Jefferson who was in France when the First Amendment was written. Jefferson had nuthin to do with writing the Bill of Rights!

What a piece of work. She's tired of having to abide by that dusty old Constitution thing she swore to uphold and defend. I mean, what a bother!

    What human swine she is.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; [...]"

Ah! I get it now! So if Christians want to freely exercise their religion by taking over the government, they must be allowed to!

Makes sense to me, po. Donna's been clear that she believes that that's what some Christians are all about.

Curt, Boebert argued that the church IS supposed to direct the church. You should correct your opening post.
