    I don't agree at all with her political positions, but I admire how she's sacrificing her political career for the the country.

    She is noble and honorable though I am repulsed by her Trump irrationality.

    She lives, with courage, her convictions.

    I think her participation is foolhardy, and doing far more harm than good. But, I always admire the person with the courage to be a renegade.

    To do that, a person has to be willing to uphold principle without regard to what is pragmatic. That's rare.

    Since I've already told you that I admire her for similar reasons, it makes no sense that you would think that I was referring to that part of what you said when I said that I don't understand why you think that. Clearly I was referring to the previous sentence.

    Did you forget that I had already praised her for essentially the same reasons?

    You seem to have a difficult time processing information correctly.

    I vaguely recall that now that you mention it.

    So, it's the more harm than good thing.

    Think about how we got here. Nancy Pelosi rejected the members the GOPs appointed. The GOPs said that that's wrong and said that, if they can't have their own members on the Committee, they wouldn't put any members on the Committee.

    So, Nancy invited two...very anti-Trumpers to serve...on of whom was Cheney.

    I say that Cheney did more harm than good by not insisting that House leadership find a way to work it out.

    The reality today is that more than a few people are like pb and oppose the Jan 6th Committee as a matter of principle.

    At best, anything the Committee produces will be tainted, period.

    And, there's a way that Cheney accepting the Dems' invitation to serve did more harm than good.
