Have you noticed how much the message of the hearings is pro GOP...except for Trump himself?

As Liz tells it, you know how evil Trump is because almost every GOP opposed him. Pence. Barr. Even Ivanka! Nearly every, as po'd say, effin Republican!

Did you notice that?

Considering current political momentum, these hearings are, for all intents and purposes, a GOP infomercial.

And, considering that DeSantis either ties or beats Trump in straw polls, this is very, very good for Ron DeSantis.


Bottom line: Either Liz Cheney is DeSantis' Fancy Woman...or, she wants to be.

by Donna on June 15, 2022 10:44 am Liz Cheney has one of the most conservative voting records in the Senate. She voted for something like 93% of legislation that was supported by Trump. It's logical that Liz Cheney would support ANY challenger to Trump. Since DeSsntis seems to be leading the list of challengers, it goes without saying that she would support him. Plenty of other Republican lawmakers would support a challenge to Trump, too, but since their primary concern is getting re-elected, they watch the polls and feign allegiance to Trump. Liz Cheney, by taking a principled stand against Trump, is knowingly destroying her re-election chances. Last I heard, she was 30 points behind her challenger. She's literally sacrificing her political career for the sake of our country. And for that, and only that, I applaud her. by HatetheSwamp on June 15, 2022 11:01 am Very seriously, Donna. I could almost think of Cheney's actions as one of those historic American "PROFILES IN COURAGE" except that she voted for that second impeachment... ...when there wasn't enough time to investigate the connection between Trump and the Capitol riot.
