The original program was supposed to recruit hundreds of agents and staff volunteers to “help diversify classroom, community center and library bookshelves with a collection of books to help bring clarity and understanding to the national conversation about Being Transgender, Inclusive and Non-Binary,” according to the January 2022 email, obtained by Consumers’ Research, which surfaced Monday...

“Conversations about gender and identity should happen at home with parents. We don’t support required curriculum in schools on this topic. We support organizations providing resources for parents to have these conversations,” Terry wrote.

“The project’s goal is to increase representation of LGBTQ+ books and support our communities in having challenging, important and empowering conversations with children Age 5+,” the original email said.

LGBT people get all huffy and sneer and belittle people who even suggest that they recruit and groom.

Tell me that there's no reason to be concerned when this stuff comes to light.

The encouraging thing is, a decade ago State Farm and its LGBT allies would have gotten away with this indoctrination program. Mainstream people would have bent over and taken it.

Those days are gone. The social war that LGBTs thought they were winning ain't over...as the coming red wave will make clear.

I would have been teased unmercifully by my two older brothers, and my parents would have sought psychological and religious counseling by well-meaning physicians and clergymen who were unqualified in gender issues. by HatetheSwamp on May 24, 2022 7:04 am Donna, I'm sure you know that that's not the point. State Farm was becoming an accessory in distributing LGBTQ propaganda to be distributed to 5 year old children and to involve adults in promoting LGBTQ-friendly books and other media...to young kids. I'm certain that very few people would object if those materials were developed at an adult level and distributed among adults, say, mothers' groups or, say, UU or UCC, etc. Sunday School classes... ...but 5 year olds! Despite the $millions spent on discrediting that bill in Florida which merely restricted teachers from mentioning these issues among students through third grade, the majority in Florida support it. And, in the end, people supporting the, now, law were accusing your side of hoping to "groom" children, something that bothered even level headed pb. LGBTQs just proved those people to be justified. It absolutely appears you're after our kids. There's a sea change taking place in America. Your side would have gotten away with this a decade ago but you've gone too far. It may shock you to know that I was 5 years old once, and that my transsexuality wasn't the result of "grooming". With that said -- and this may come as a shock to you -- but actually I share their concerns. There's a young transwoman who has a YouTube channel (btw she's pre-op and she's a knockout) who has a series of videos about this concern. She, too, sees that transgenderism has become trendy to the point that some children who aren't transgender are imagining that they are, sometimes with the help of transgender parents. by HatetheSwamp on May 24, 2022 8:01 am I'm not surprised that you see sense. A five year old is what they are. It's often a dinosaur or a cowboy or a princess. To introduce the material State Farm was briefly, "Hornswoggle"d (remember that one) into endorsing would have done more harm than good.
