OrangeMan's choice of Dr Oz is a bit of a shocker, to me anyway.
Oz is polling in second place behind Dave McCormick, who is PA famous for running a LET'S GO BRANDON commercial during the Super Bowl.
Well, gang, pb is endorsing McCormick and he's sticking to his guns.

At issue among Trump’s most fervent supporters is the belief that Oz, a Turkish-American TV physician who has hobnobbed with Hollywood’s elite and has flip-flopped on the issue of abortion, isn’t a trustworthy “America First” Republican candidate, compared to fellow candidate Dave McCormick, who has ex-Trump administration official Hope Hicks by his side. (Another Trumpworld stalwart, Stephen Miller, stopped all involvement and employment with the McCormick campaign after Trump’s Oz endorsement, a source with direct knowledge of the matter told The Daily Beast after this story was published.)
“This endorsement could divide MAGA in the only way that matters: he could lose America First conservatives over it,” Breitbart News’ Joel Pollak wrote. 😱 news.yahoo.com
by oldedude on April 10, 2022 8:09 pm The other thing Oz has done, is to call out the liars the murdered hundreds of thousands of people via stupid "regulations" that were known not to be effective. As much as you have an unhealthy visceral hatred of Trump, he still gets things done. Unlike Joe the pervert, he wanted to have Americans (and Canadians) work instead of sworn enemies of the US.

Curt, "Trumpworld Goes Into Meltdown After Trump Endorses Dr. Oz"
Again, I'm amused by the TDS in the article. But, clearly, pb is not the only GOP to be less than excited about the endorsement.
One thing about this is that it shows that isle's claim that Trump's star is fading in the GOP, is waaaaaaaaaay off base.
Donald Trump chooses to support a candidate in one Senate primary and it's major news in the GOP?, and, hilariously, causes an earthquake in the TDS world?
No matter where you stand on Trump, he's, as Ralph Malph used to say, "still got it!"

Gang,
This is big news in Pennsylvania, more than even I would have expected.
I checked out the Dom Giordano radio program today. Giordano is a heavily connected GOP figure in Philadelphia. He's the best source available to me on "inside baseball" GOP stuff in Pennsylvania. And, his callers are the second best. Dom and his audience are pi$$ed!
I also caught a segment of the Guy Benson (a guy Curt's never heard of) Fox News Radio program in which he chatted with Fox News' elder statesman, Brit Hume. That chat was very insightful. They agreed that this was a Trump mistake. They hinted around at the idea that the fact that Trump supporters themselves are in a huff over Dr Oz is significant.
I think that I've said that I despise Trump. I think he's despicable. So, his endorsement is not an issue to me but, if you're MAGA it's a huuuuuuuuuge deal. I think that, if you're MAGA, you think that Trump is you and you are Trump. Dr Oz may have opened some eyes. Trump may rue the day...
by oldedude on April 13, 2022 9:27 pm We went to CPAC in Orlando since it's not too far away this time. There were a couple of things I saw. 1. Neither one of us voted for Trump in the Straw Poll. Most people couldn't believe that I didn't. One thing all the Floridians wanted is for DeSantis to NOT run. We really like him as a leader, and we have him, and two great Senators.
The other thing surprising was that Dr Oz was loved, along with several doctors who spoke regarding the lies the CDC has been telling the US regarding COVID. Fauchi is hated because of the things he has imposed by the request of China.
And of course, masks were suggested, but optional. Some people wore them. Nobody harassed, demeaned, or shouted at them. I always carried mine, but never wore it (welcome to DeSantisland). The odd thing, was with the couple of thousand folks there, not wearing masks, using sheeple logic, it would have been a "superspreader." Nothing like that happened.
Yet again, I think there are better people in the party than Trump. But if I vote Dum, then we get another guy with just pant legs under the trench coat.
