This is meant to determine which of the three ways we are studying to use when solving a system involving at least one non-linear equation.                   Do the two equations have the exact same powers of either x or y? YES Use elimination!       NO Does ONE of the equations have just x or just y (no squares) in it? YES Use substitution!       NO Graph them, find the intersections Remember to use both + and - if you have a root!
