If you are still using Windows XP, the end is near. Microsoft will continue all support for this 12-year-old computer operating system April 8, 2014. This chart can help you plot a course of action for surviving XP's official End of Life.

Look at the Start Button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. If it's rectangular, it's probably XP. If it's round, you're okay.

Will take it off Internet. Use as print server, scanning engine, photo/film editor, display driver, etc.

Use secure browser. Use Internet security suite. Browse only in safe places. Don't open attachments from strangers. Be very careful!
