Trouble Shoot the Server Problem                 Is the Server malfunctioning? YES Step 2 Is there an image on the monitor? (words or pictures) YES Continue YES Step 3. Are there 7 Icons and red button on the lower right of the monitor? NO There should be a start button on the lower left of the screen. Press & select shutdown. Then Press the computer cpu power button to restart. NO NO YES Go back to work Is it turned on? YES Press and Hold the computer CPU power button until the computer turns off. Then Press the power button again. Did the Computer Restart and is there now an image on the monitor ? Press the red button and the computer will shut down. Then after the computer is off, press the power button on the computer and enter password.   NO NO   Turn on the monitor and return to Step 2. Are the lights on the netgear switch lit up? YES Is the monitor switch on NO Turn on monitor and return to step 2. NO YES     Plug an adding machine into the wall at the spot the big black cord is. Does the adding machine work? YES You can not resolve this.   NO     You do no have power. Call the office and ask them to check the circuit breaker. Once they verify you have power on the circuit return to step 2.
