Walk-in Patient presents to the ED	Triaged by Paramedic/RN Legitimate emergency?	NO	Patient visits registration after severity is determined

	Paramedic/RN interviews patient for CC, obtains vitals, may start line/labs depending on CC

	Physician visits patients as triaged. Orders diagnostic tests/procedures		Suport staff performs diagnostic tests	Results are reviewed by physician, treatments are ordered (entered into computer)

				RNs administer ordered medications,

				treatment outcomes are evaluated by MD (Further testing) or RN and reported to MD.
