Everything and anything to do with the Cold war .

       
there are two revolutions in china . First occurred in 1911- 1912 and is also known as the " Xinhai Revolution" . Another one was successful after 20 years of Civil war, and invasion by the japanese.
The Czechoslovakia Liberation occurred in 1945 .
1945-Yalta Conference : It was a meeting between the heads of state of the United states, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union. It Increased tension. 1945 - Postdam Conference : was held in potsdam in the summer by Roosevelt, Staling, and Churchill . They drew up plans for the administration of Germany and Poland, after the world war 1. 1945: Division of Germany - When Germany was divided into four different occupation zones.
1948–1989: Czechoslovak-communist party takes control . 1948 - Berlin Blockade : first major international crises of the cold war.
1949- NATO: was founded by Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the United States .









1950 - Korean war: war between North and South Korea. South Korea was aided by the United States and other members of the UN.
1953 - Korean war ended.
1955 - Warsaw Pact: military alliance of communist nations in eastern Europe. It was organized in answer to NATO. It included Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and the Soviet Union.It Increased tension. 1955: Bandung Conference-meeting of Asian and African States ,most of which were newly independent. Took place in Bandung, Indonesia .
1956 - Hungarian Revolt: was a revolt against the government of the peoples Republic of Hungary and it's Soviet-imposed policies.
1959-1975: Vietnam War- War between the Communist armies of North Vietnam who were supported by the Chinese and the armies of South Vietnam support who were supported by the United States.









1961: Berlin wall- was build by Stalin. It occurred because when East Germany surrounded West Berlin, people migrated there for better life. Caused a big blow on their economy and propaganda. It was build to stop East Germans from entering west Berlin. 1961 - Bay of Pigs : ot was an unsuccessful military invasion of Cuba , by the CIA-sponsored paramilitary group Brigade 2506.
1962- Cuban Missile Crisis: It was the 13 day confrontation between the Soviet Union , on one side , and the United States on the other side.
1979: Afghanistan - Taraki , the Marxist president of Afghanistan, is deposed and murdered .Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan to oust Hafizullah Amin. Ending Detente.
1980: Polish Solidarity : 17,000 workers seized control of the Lenin shipyard in Gdansk to protest.
1989: Berlin Wall was torn down
