Step 2: extracting the PGM enzyme contained within seeds of Brassica oleracea

               
Obtain one seed of the cultivar assigned to your group
Obtain a ceramic spot plate and label it with your name and name of cultivar
place the labelled plate on top of ice
remove dark seed coat
place seed in one of the wells with 70 micro liters of grinding buffer









 
 
 
 do not remove from ice until you are ready to transfer to sample plate!
grind the tissue using a clean glass test tube until you have a yellow solution that does not have any intact tissue
