I stumbled on this as a Drudge headline. They call it a "shock poll." I don't think there's much shock in it anymore.
I confess that I'm a bit of a poll nerd. I love reading the internals of polls but this article lays it out clearly and succinctly.
Here's some highlights, or, for the former 18 wheeler driver, lowlights:
"Americans say 46 - 38 percent they would want to see the Republican Party win control of the House of Representatives...
Americans say 46 - 40 percent they would want to see the Republican Party win control of the U.S. Senate, while 15 percent did not offer an opinion. Independents say 44 - 34 percent that they would want to see the Republican Party win control of the U.S. Senate, and 22 percent did not offer an opinion.
Americans give President Biden a negative 36 - 53 percent job approval rating, while 10 percent did not offer an opinion. It's the lowest job approval rating he's received in a Quinnipiac University national poll.
Roughly 6 in 10 Americans (61 percent) say the nation's economy is getter worse, 21 percent say it's staying about the same, and 16 percent say it's getting better."
BTW, I was stunned when, despite the MSM's fawning, sycophantic coverage of Biden, his RCP approval sank to -10. Those were the good old days. Now it's -12.7!!!!!
I continue to think that Joe's doing as well as he can. I'm shocked that he is falling so sharply in popularity.
And, I remember the difficulty my dad had, as his dementia advanced, relating to the world when things didn't go dad's way. Poor Joe must be beside himself.
