"Critics railed against PolitiFact for publishing false information in the wake of the shootings.

"This fact check was always wrong, but now that the weapons charge has been dropped it's officially PANTS ON FIRE," RealClearInvestigations senior writer Mark Hemingway reacted."

Bahahahahahahaha.

You Blue MAGAs treated your biased, filthy fact checkers as if their words are Holy Writ.

NOT!!!!!

    Not so fast, McGraw.

Defending much maligned and thoroughly assailed PolitiFact with PolitiFact. Hmmm.

This is the sort of thing that causes some, not me of course, to guffaw at you Blue MAGA progressives. Bahahahahahahaha.

I don't want to say you got nuthin but it's hard not to...

  3. by Donna on November 16, 2021 8:05 am
That's quite a long way of saying "nuh uh".

  4. by HatetheSwamp on November 16, 2021 8:59 am

The point I've made repeatedly here is that Blue MAGA progressives cite your highly biased, alleged FACT checkers as if they're reliable.

Yet, the FACT is that, beyond your tight little community, they're distrusted, maligned and mocked.

  5. by Donna on November 16, 2021 9:13 am
    They are generally very reliable.

  6. by HatetheSwamp on November 16, 2021 9:21 am

    Generally.

Thing is, when the Dem and or Blue MAGA agenda is at risk, they tend toward unreliability...even advocacy.

Beyond your woke, elitist circle, they are mistrusted and, worse, ignored...

    ...as the news reporting illustrates.

    HtS,
So you believe that if it judge dropped a certain lesser charges against the defendant it meant that that action was legal?

"Wisconsin law says that "any person under 18 years of age who possesses or goes armed with a dangerous weapon is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor."

In our fact-check, we cite the possibility of an exception for rifles and shotguns. The exception is aimed at letting children ages 16 and 17 hunt." --PolitiFact

    Rittenhouse arguably was hunting...for humans.

    Curt,

I'm not well read on Pennsylvania gun law, let alone Wisconsin's.

What I revel in is the broad based expression of distrust in one of the Blue MAGAs' pet fact, bahahahahahahaha, checkers.

  9. by Curt_Anderson on November 16, 2021 10:07 am
    HtS,
That's not news. Conservatives famously reject facts and naturally are suspicious of fact checkers.

  10. by HatetheSwamp on November 16, 2021 10:24 am

    Good'ne!

And you claim subjectivity ain't truth.

  11. by Curt_Anderson on November 16, 2021 10:38 am
Subjectivity isn't truth necessarily. Your favorite philosopher to cite, Kierkegaard, said "truth is subjectivity". But he distinguished objective knowledge from subjective knowledge.

The fact checker sites which you disdain focus on objective facts.

  12. by HatetheSwamp on November 16, 2021 12:55 pm

    Curt,

The fact checkers you cite focus on objective facts...

...from the perspective of their own extreme bias.

  13. by Donna on November 16, 2021 2:48 pm
Well since everyone has biases, why don't we just do away entirely with our justice system?

  14. by HatetheSwamp on November 16, 2021 3:06 pm

The "jury of 12 of your peers" is our attempt to address the reality that all of us have our own biases. It's not perfect of course.

As will be demonstrated if Kyle Rittenhouse is found guilty. Bahahahahahahaha.
