...about 9 in 10 Americans would likely fail at least once — probably someone you know and love is one of them.<\b>

    "About"..."likely fail"..."probably."

How do the sanctimones at the WaPo know that? How could they!!!!!? Well, for that matter, they don't say they do.

And, my guess is that you Swampcult Blue MAGA progressives fell for it hook, line and sinker...a little fishing lingo, there!

    HtS,
How do they know? The WaPo reported the findings of various polls on all or most the responses above.

Hate, I noticed that you neglected to show us your answers...

Oh that's right. You are always too embarrassed of your beliefs to share them in public.

So...how many did you get right?

  9. by HatetheSwamp on October 7, 2021 4:12 pm

Duh, Curt. I got them all right as any geezer who's been a news junkie for decades would.

  10. by HatetheSwamp on October 8, 2021 6:09 am

    Just a thought.

All six questions were painfully easy for me and I sense that some of you considered it an achievement to ace it. And, unlike a typical Blue MAGA progressive, it didn't occur to me that I'm just smarter than the rest of you, or, as po might say, the rest of you are just stupid.

    So, how about this?

This quiz came from the WaPo. It came from a bastion of SwampMedia reporting. And, I wonder if the rest of you who get your so called "news" from the SwampMedia, i.e., the NYT, the WaPo, the HuffPo and, yikes!, Rachel, are so accustomed to imbibing propaganda that you don't gain real world knowledge.

I check out the SwampMedia but also, of course, Fox a variety of, well, counterculture news sources, including reporting on the US from international sources. Apparently, you should consider expanding your mind, if you want a sense of life in the real world.

It'd be po's thing to think that others are stupid. I, on the other hand, am convinced that you are not this stupid.

  11. by Ponderer on October 8, 2021 7:43 am

So the quiz came from the Washington Post. So what are you saying? That because of that being a "Swamp" source, that choices in the quiz that it deemed false are actually true? That the answers it deemed true weren't really all that true? Or they are really false but accepted as true?

I wish you could comprehend just how little sense you make pretty much all of the time. You are just so desperate for a win that you'll contort and contrive and twist anything into whatever you think makes you look like you've maintained the High Ground. All the while, you're actually standing down in a ditch throwing idiocies up at the High Ground.

Here's a really quick quiz for you, Mr. News Junky Geezer. Let's see how painfully easy this one is for you....

    1. Which of any of these statements is true?
    a. If all the votes in the 2020 presidential election had been counted fairly and honestly, Donald Trump would be the president right now.
    b. A powerful, secret cabal of high-placed Democratic scoundrels orchestrated and implemented an elaborate plot to commit voter and election fraud in order to ensure a Biden victory.
    c. Donald Trump had little to no responsibility for the violent attack on the Capital building on January 6th of 2021.
    d. Donald Trump never did anything worthy of being impeached for.
    e. There is nothing illegal about a losing political candidate calling state government officials to beg them to publicly lie for them about the election results in their state, to help them make a case that they actually won the election.
    f. All of the above.
    g. None of the above.

  12. by Ponderer on October 8, 2021 10:42 am

SHHHH!!! Don't anyone give him any hints!

Let him figure this one out on his own. I'm sure he'll be happy to share his answer........

  13. by HatetheSwamp on October 8, 2021 11:25 am
    po,

The WaPo questions and answers are legitimate. I took the little quiz and nailed it...easily.

What astounded me is that Curt and you both seemed to be proud of yourselves for acing it when, for me, it was child's play. But, then, I don't think that what comes up on Rachel is real world news.

  14. by Ponderer on October 8, 2021 4:50 pm

Don't flatter yourself. You took the bait we laid for you is all.

And there is nothing illegitimate about the questions in my quiz. If they aren't true statements, or if you don't believe that they are true statements, you can answer accordingly. You can likewise answer if you think they are true statements. There's no illegitimacy involved here. Couldn't be simpler.

My quiz was designed precisely to make it as clear and concise as possible. There is no nuance in them. They are either true statements, or they are not. You either believe they are true statements or you don't.

What the heck, though. If you want to explain or qualify your answer in greater detail than just picking representative letters, feel free to be as verbose as you care to be. You have every opportunity to answer this simple, one question quiz.

But you won't. You're ashamed of your answer. You are too embarrassed to admit to it in public.

Watch now, Dear Friends, as Hate leaps and gambles about in a mindless reverie of pathetic obfuscation..............

  15. by Ponderer on October 9, 2021 6:00 pm

I of course was not limiting his obfuscation to this particular thread only.

  16. by HatetheSwamp on October 10, 2021 5:05 am

    1. Which of any of these statements is true?

    Two thoughts:

    1. You are a world-class hyperbolizer, po.
    2. You just can't resist centering the universe. Your, still, unsubstantiated opinions must be settled fact for all of the rest of humanity.

    Bahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahaha ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

  17. by Ponderer on October 12, 2021 8:57 am

Was that a quiz for me? Okay. I'll play...

Which of any of these statements is true?

    1. You are a world-class hyperbolizer, po.
    2. You just can't resist centering the universe. Your, still, unsubstantiated opinions must be settled fact for all of the rest of humanity.

My answer is neither are true statements.

See how easy that was? If you don't think a statement is true, you just say so. If you think it is true, you just say that.

Now you try to answer my quiz, Captain Obfuscation......
