I don't care what anybody says. Trump's trials won't help his poll numbers.

We don’t really know Joe Biden or Donald Trump. Maybe we should listen to those who do.

Watch a few minutes of this. I'm on board with it.

It amazes me how well intentioned, yet idiotic, white progressives can be.

Sheeeeeeeesh!

    I agree. That's crazy.

"The testing that we've been doing in the past doesn't tell us what we want to know," Democratic Sen. Lew Frederick told a local ABC affiliate in June. "We have been relying on tests that have been, frankly, very flawed and relying too much on them so that we aren't really helping the students or the teachers or the community."

Supporters of the measure said the state needed to pause the academic requirements, which had been in place since 2009, so lawmakers could reevaluate which standards should be updated, and recommendations for new graduation standards are due to the Legislature and Oregon Board of Education by September 2022, the Oregonian added in its report.

By the governor's admission, the purpose of lowering graduation standards was to make it easier for non-White students to graduate.

    Donna,
Easier or fairer? Many or all of these academic and intelligence tests have built-in biases and are often anachronistic. It's not a bad thing to reevaluate and update the tests.

It's easy to construct an unbiased test that measures math and writing proficiency. High school graduation requirements have been being dumbed down for decades to give the false impression that schools are doing a better job educating kids and young adults than they are. With that said, I don't think it's fair to lay all the blame for uneducated Americans on teachers and school systems.

I think that the achievements of Chinese students in basic subjects should be the standard.
