With two tries Jim Jordan cannot even win an election with a Republican majority. The House has been without a Speaker for 15 days. Republicans can’t govern.

    I didn't want to embarrass the writer who made that suggestion, but see the comments in the link below. Btw, Jeffries beat Jordan by more votes today, 212 to 199.

    Since Jordan and his fellow "legislative terrorists", as John Boehner called them, are happy with no functioning government, I wouldn't be surprised if they extend the time that Congress is without a speaker, even though Jordan cannot win the job.

    As I read it, the writer is noting that Jordan absolutely is bonkers but, as bonkers as he is, his bonkerosity can't be compared to the House Dem leader's..."by a looooooooong shot."

    In fact, the point appears to be that Jordan is bonkers but there's lots of that going around in the HouseSwamp.

    Beyond that, as I recall, the writer opposes Jordan as Speaker and believes Jordan would be a terrible Speaker...

    ...because he is bonkers.

    ...and, it doesn't change the need to inquire into the connection between Hunter and Jim Biden's questionable business dealings and "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap."
