If a Harvard student demonstrator had said this, wouldn't our resident right-wingers call the statement "pro-Hamas"?

Donald Trump lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, telling a crowd of Florida supporters that the countries' intelligence failed, and its enemies were ''very smart."

"I'll never forget that Bibi Netanyahu let us down," Trump told a group of supporters Wednesday in West Palm Beach, Fla. "That was a very terrible thing."

Trump discussed the operation that killed Iranian military leader Qasem Soleimani in early 2020. The former president said Israel now has to strengthen itself as it fights Hamas and other militant groups, including perhaps Iran.

    GOP presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis slammed former President Trump for words of respect directed at terror group Hezbollah, as well as what he called an "attack" on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

    Following a speech Trump gave Wednesday in West Palm Beach, Florida, DeSantis took Trump to task for his remarks.

    "Terrorists have murdered at least 1,200 Israelis and 22 Americans and are holding more hostage, so it is absurd that anyone, much less someone running for President, would choose now to attack our friend and ally, Israel, much less praise Hezbollah terrorists as ‘very smart.’" DeSantis wrote on X, formerly Twitter, late Wednesday.


    “This is no time for any former president or any other American leader to be sending any message other than America stands with Israel,” [Mike] Pence said on a New Hampshire radio station on Thursday morning.

    I don't think it's as much Hamas, as Iran. Regardless, stoopid statement. The difference between you and I. If it's a stoopid statement for person "A", it's also a stoopid statement for person "B". You pick and choose who is wrong by who you like or hate or want destroyed or who lives in your head.

    It's stupid to treat Netanyahu as some sort of untouchable deity. That's why even after dozens of posts on mulitple boards (Twitter, etc...) I've never gotten a single comment on this art - because everyone is afraid to question Netanyahu (and of course Israel). Everyone should be open to critique because nobody is perfect (especially Netanyahu).

    Curt- The stoopid wasn't meant for you. It was meant for whomever said that (in this case trumpster).

    Although, just a clarification, there are terrorist organization that have a level of finesse. Abu Nidal Organization. Black September, Bader-Mienhof. They were considered smart. Their bombs were really well planned, their hits really succent and deadly.

    Some are considered not so smart. European white socialist movement (neoNAZIs), The American white supremist. PLO, used to be the early radical Islamic movements (they were really poorly organized). so this does happen. And I don't think trumpster knows the difference.
