When they were young, I read books nightly to my two children. There was no children's author who my kids and I enjoyed more than Roald Dahl. Incidentally, Dahl wrote for adults too including at least one episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. One of Dahl's books that my kids and I especially enjoyed was "Fantastic Mr. Fox".
Mr. Fox's antagonists were three farmers alliteratively named Boggis, Bunce and Bean...one fat, one short, one lean. Here the gun-toting villains are as illustrated by Quentin Blake:
Today in Congress we have a quartet who are a match for Dahl's treacherous trio. The are known as the The Seditious Four and conveniently also have alliterative names: Gosar, Gohmert, Gaetz and Greene. Dahl might have had fun writing about this fact-free foursome.
The news conference held by this coalition of House GOP firebrands was cut short after a group of counter-protesters gathered behind the lawmakers. This was concurrent to the House Select Committee Hearing Investigating 1/6.
