I am going against the polls, headlines, pundits and Trump's campaign who all claim that the indictment works to Trump's advantage. I predict that after an initial surge from his Kool-aid drinking cultists that Trump will drop in the polls. There are many, especially FOX News viewers, who are misinformed about why Trump was indicted. But even many of them won't stay misinformed forever. As Abraham Lincoln remarked, "you can't fool all the people all of the time".
(NY Post)Former President Donald Trump raised more than $4 million toward his presidential run in the 24 hours since he was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, his campaign announced Friday.
“This incredible surge of grassroots contributions confirms that the American people see the indictment of President Trump as a disgraceful weaponization of our justice system by a Soros-funded prosecutor,” a press release from the former president’s campaign read.
The campaign noted that more than 25% of the donations came from first-time Trump donors, and the average contribution was $34.
I wonder how many people who sent their hard earned money to the self-proclaimed billionaire Donald Trump were afterwards chastised by their spouses: you donated our money to that crook!?

Trump is now ahead of his nearest rival, Ron DeSantis, by more than 30 points in recent polls. I predict that lead will disappear before the first primaries and caucuses.
