The Prime Minister of Poland has called an emergency meeting following the explosion.

Two people have been killed in Poland after two stray rockets landed near the border with Ukraine.

It has not yet been confirmed if the rockets landed in the NATO state as a result of Russia's mass bombardment of Ukrainian cities earlier today, which saw over 100 rockets launched.

Poland's Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, has convened the Committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defense Affairs "as a matter of urgency", government spokesman Piotr Müller confirmed, with local news sites claiming this is likely the result of the explosions.

Hey, gang! This is potentially serious. I hope that you're all resting well knowing that "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" is commanding the most powerful military in the world and, for that matter, all of the free world.

I'm not.

I will sleep much better knowing Biden is at the helm. That’s much better than having the erratic Trump in office. Trump couldn’t even manage to get his MAGA acolytes outside of red states across the finish line. Loser!

  2. by HatetheSwamp on November 15, 2022 12:38 pm

Yeah, Curt. North Korea. The Middle East. That Russia/Ukraine thing. Afghanistan. China/Taiwan.

    Total chaos under Trump. Bahahahahahahahahahaha!

Sometimes I think that the sleep of you deranged is the most sound. None so blind as those who will not see, eh? Sleep well with "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" in charge.

First, pedojoe is like a British Bobbie. "Halt! or I'll say Halt again!" That's why Putin can do this with impunity. Nothing is going to happen to him. pedojoe still owes the Russians favors from his son. The Chinese are still watching his every move and (my guess) is feeding him "suggestions" of what he needs to do.

Also what matters the most. Were they rockets or missiles? That's kind of key. The report was pretty vague about where the attack was vs the explosion site. If the "rockets" were medium range and went, say, 750- 1000km, it could have been an error. An odd mix of fuel, a drunk soldier at the helm is not unknown in the Russian military.

If it's a missile. it's an enticement to NATO, and Putin is mocking NATO and pedojoe. Those are pre-loaded with the targets and (even with the Russians) they're at least within 25-50metres of the intended target. Ours can pick a pane of glass in a building.

So we'll see if pedojoe is a Bobbie, hides from the whole thing, or is a part of a real solution. As much as I don't like pedojoe, we need to see what the Poles say. If it was civilian targets we have a 50-50 chance it was planned. So we'll see in the next couple of days.

So what's "the real solution" od?

  5. by Curt_Anderson on November 15, 2022 1:16 pm
    OD,
That you think that Biden is like a British Bobby is high praise. Brits enjoy a lower crime rate than we do in America. Our murder rate is four times that of England's.

Bobbies are named in honor of Robert Peel who nearly 200 years ago developed the nine principles of policing. His principles are still followed and taught today in advanced countries.

Yes, now that you mention it, Biden does have something in common with British Bobbies. Without employing our own military, Putin has been stymied for about ten months when conventional wisdom predicted it would be cakewalk in Ukraine for Putin.

Don't expect ab answer anytime soon. OD and HtS have no idea what the real solution is. No matter what Biden does---and that could be anything from doing nothing to declaring WWIII---OD and HtS will stay it's the wrong thing.

  8. by HatetheSwamp on November 15, 2022 2:55 pm

Here's the solution. Piece o cake. The Flatulent Fool calls OrangeMan. Asks. How did you get North Korea to stop with the nuclear missiles? How did you get Muslim nations and Israel to sign those Abraham Treaties? How did you stop Chinese saber rattling over Taiwan? How did you keep Russia out of Ukraine? How did you keep illegal immigration from increasing tenfold across the southern border. Heck, how did you get oil so cheap that, for a time, it was selling for negative $$$?

Then do just exactly that. Nuthin more, nuthin less.

    Absolute piece of cake.

  9. by Donna on November 15, 2022 3:15 pm

You're so full of shit. N. Korea hasn't conducted a nuclear test since 2017, and they never stopped conducting missile tests.

  10. by Curt_Anderson on November 15, 2022 3:15 pm
Most of Trump's "accomplishments" were the result of global pandemic.

Reduce Chinese saber rattling? Easy--cause a pandemic that causes China to lock themselves indoors.

North Korean Nukes? No problem--have pandemic that grinds NK to a halt.

Oil and gas prices? Simple--have a pandemic that causes people to work remotely online, to not vacation, to drive less and fly less.

Immigration? The pandemic led to sharp drops in immigration to the United States, to levels not seen in decades.

I don't think starting another global pandemic is the best way to solve problems with a bellicose Russia. Any other suggestions?

I already said that. (you didn't read). we wait. we see what can be proved. I thought I made that clear. Once they decide, I'll have some suggestions.

Don't expect ab answer anytime soon. OD and HtS have no idea what the real solution is. No matter what Biden does---and that could be anything from doing nothing to declaring WWIII---OD and HtS will stay it's the wrong thing.
sorry, I was out fukking your sister for you (cuckold).
You haven't come up with anything other than to support a loser. completely and totally laughed at by the global community. When your wife allows you to get uncaged, let me know.

    N. Korea hasn't conducted a nuclear test since 2017, and they never stopped conducting missile tests.
You're stupid if you actually think you need a nuclear missile in unison, rather testing them separately Once they get the "warhead" done, the rest is the missile. It really is that simple. simply put, these are ALL nuclear weapons tests. They are testing missiles to land at a lat/long in the ocean. Normally, these will splash within 25-100 metres of their coding. Their range depends on the patterns.

"On November 2, 2022, North Korea fired 25 missiles of various kinds off its east and west coasts. One of the short-range ballistic missiles was launched in the direction of South Korea’s Ulleung Island, triggering the air raid alert. That same missile landed 26 kilometers (16 miles) south of the Northern Limit Line (NLL)—a disputed maritime border between North and South Korea. According to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, this is the first time that North Korea’s missile landed close to South Korea’s territorial waters since the division of the Korean peninsula in 1945. At 1:27 p.m. KST, North Korea also fired 100 artillery shells into South Korea’s maritime buffer zone, violating once again the September 19 inter-Korean agreement reached in 2019."

    Lead- "Curt,

You really should write a manual on Good German.

I agree. again a "schoolboy" that thinks he understands the world. BTW Bibi just got reelected. so you're at least a tad slow on world thoughts. Your also very slow on world history, especially recent world history. You're a figurehead in the marxist hit squad that your children will never find, nor will they want to.

I don't think starting another global pandemic is the best way to solve problems with a bellicose Russia."

    Concur. No exceptions.

So again, you're agreeing with those trying to reduce the US to ashes. That is the stated resolve of the Palestinian Authority. Period.

Neville Chamberlain was a complete patsy (or cuckold much like others mentioned here). He was a complete biatch to Hitler. Historians that are reputation agree on this. He simply did the wrong thing, and apolitically allied with Hitler to start WWII. His goal was to "stop" a war, and by misreading his enemy, he started "The Second Great War" in recent history. I know you don't care that millions of human beings were murdered on all sides because humans don't matter to you. But be forewarned, the next war will be 100 times worse. Oh, BTW, I noticed you got your information from the Palestinians. Good thought at "independent" thought. NOT!

So, when you think I'm full of sht, and when I won't answer. Just think I am actually taking care of my family, while you are not. You might want to play with your grand kids for a day. Or two. You're a snipe. Nothing more.

Uh, Curt. Joe Biden is the American President in 022. Bahahahahahahahahahaha!

  16. by oldedude on November 16, 2022 5:51 am

With Bibi getting re-elected, it seems to me that Israel is tired of terrorists running around. Terrorism in their minds is J6. I find this humorous if it wasn't so sad. It's interesting that the sheep actually side on those that pay families to "donate" their children to put on a vest and blow up a bunch of civilians. They are supported by Iran, ergo supported by China, DPRK, and Russia.

Considering the DPRK missiles. China is working on ICBM and hypersonic technology. DPRK works on mid-range missiles. and Iran works on Regional-range missiles. They all share technology and raw materials to make their own nukes or to exchange materials and warheads. The dims have always tried to allow Iran to produce their own weapons-grade warhead material without any oversight. The GOP has tried to put a "legal" limitation on it and tried to get inspectors in to see what they're up to. I've said this several times before. But like Curt, sheep choose not to remember what people say if they hate them enough..

I think it's odd that people actually believe that global actions happen in a vacuum.

Exactly. And that seems to be the uncompromising belief of Dems.

  18. by oldedude on November 16, 2022 6:29 am
Today a bit of news leaked out of the episode.
"President Joe Biden said Wednesday that based on “preliminary information” it is “unlikely” a missile that struck Polish territory Tuesday and killed two civilians was fired by Russia."
But in the next paragraph, he said...

Biden spoke to reporters in Bali, Indonesia, where he is participating with other top U.S. officials in the ongoing G20 summit. The rocket attack came amidst a flurry of strikes carried out by Russia in Ukraine on Tuesday, attacks Biden condemned as “totally unconscionable.”

First, I think there was an explosion. I find it extremely doubtful that either Ukraine or Poland (or any other NATO country including the US) are responsible, like the Russians say. Przewodów is a few km from the border and could be a holding area for the Polish military. We don't know if they actually have missile parts in the explosion (I think they know this, but are not releasing the information).

The next issue is the Russians will lie about this, knowing the intel agencies will know the truth. If so, it's a shot across the bow to NATO. Przewodów is a pretty large city, so to kill two tells me it landed in a rural area. There have been no reports of anyone wounded.

It's 1,000km from Kharkiv to Przewodów. Kharkiv was the most eastern city that took missile hits that day in a barrage and Przewodów is where the explosion happened. I'm "assuming" the barrage initiated from somewhere in Russian occupied territory. It would be a tad less than 1,000km if it were launched from north of Kharkiv. The Zircon has been tested at 1,000km successfully. Obviously, it's radar signature is not open source information, so we don't know if the Ukrainians saw a flock of birds flying at hypersonic speed to Poland.

All this said. joe sounds like he's working with the military/intel community on this. He came out "okay" with what he said, and didn't rattle any sabres. This is a good thing for now. He needs to get in the closed room with allies to work out who is willing to do what, and see how they all want to play it. At this time, I don't think he's doing a bad job at this at all. My action at this time is to wait. I know you want me to sabre rattle and threaten to go to war, Oh well. Be disappointed. And yes, waiting is an action.

I'm not going to say to start WWIII before I know and understand FACTS. That's stupid. I know it's what you want done but I'm not falling into your trap. This is how global intel works. I actually understand the WWIII scenario and what it means not only to that region, but globally.

So curt, you're getting information. I also don't hear anything from you at all about what should be done. You rarely, if ever, give any input. You just blandly support the sheep and incessantly whine about Lead and me.

  23. by Curt_Anderson on November 16, 2022 9:21 am
    Donna,
Allow it? It made me laugh out loud.

I had more than one reason to laugh. First, because, despite all their sniping and Joe Biden, as I correctly predicted, they would have no clue as to how to respond to the missile that landed in Poland. Second, I laughed at how worked up and flustered they were in their non-solution responses, in particular OD, ridiculous attempt at insults. I especially chuckled over his assertion that his having sex with my (deceased) sister makes me a cuckold. He must really resent his brothers-in-law.

Incidentally, it seems that Joe Biden took the appropriate and levelheaded response. He did not jump the gun, or go off half-cocked. Reports are that the missile was an errand Ukrainian defensive missile.

Read my posts. We agree. AND I said it twice actually using facts instead of dogma. That's the difference between us. You support everything on one side, and NOTHING on the other. You don't have the ability to actually view something critically.

So you might actually want to read before you respond and make a fool out of yourself. I'll even help you with the big words.

  25. by oldedude on November 16, 2022 9:51 am
First, I haven't heard what "solution" donna has. Not that it matters in my assessment, but it would be nice for her to offer something every once in awhile. Without being prompted. See how willing she is to commit to anything.

So first, I put out the facts that were out at the time. To just "claim" something is useless in my field. If you're going to convince ODNI, better have all the ducks in line. My briefing would be, "sir. Due to a lack of intelligence on the ground, we don't have key information necessary to make that decision at this time."

"All this said. joe sounds like he's working with the military/intel community on this. He came out "okay" with what he said, and didn't rattle any sabres. This is a good thing for now. "First, I haven't heard what "solution" donna has." - od

I never claimed I had a "real solution" as you did. I think the Biden Admin is handling it well.

The fact is, you don't have a clue.

Every family has an uncle like you who claims to be an expert on everything but actually doesn't know any more than anyone else.

  28. by Donna on November 16, 2022 11:09 am

Your "real solution" is 'wait and see'. LOL!

  29. by oldedude on November 16, 2022 11:24 am
The Poles are still investigating. Unlike the sheep, I believe in having facts before I start a global war. Not innuendo and guesswork. And definitely NOT dogma, which the sheep use. Thusly the term "sheeple."

So you talk sht about me, but you still haven't given your solution (future tense like you want me to do). So let's hear your "wisdom." And don't tell me you don't have a solution. Obviously you do. Otherwise you wouldn't be talking sht.

  30. by Donna on November 16, 2022 11:50 am

You're the one who implied that you had the "real solution", not me, so I don't understand why you keep badgering me to produce something I never claimed to have.

  31. by oldedude on November 16, 2022 5:52 pm
This is why I waited. The missile was a UKRAINIAN ground to air missile.

Oops. Sorry donna didn't get in on this. It would be interesting what lie she could dig up. And of course curt "ass-umed" it was Russian, and wrong, which could have put us in to WWIII.

  32. by Curt_Anderson on November 16, 2022 6:14 pm
    OD,
I didn't write or make such assumptions. As HtS's headline states "Russian missiles land in NATO state Poland", it was reported nearly immediately that the missiles were known to be Russian-made. That in itself that doesn't prove where the missile came from.

You were the one who wrote, "That's why Putin can do this with impunity." "This" being lob missiles into Poland to test NATO and Biden. You went on to say there was "50-50 chance it was planned [by the Russians, as opposed to being accidental]".

  33. by oldedude on November 16, 2022 7:42 pm
If you actually look, my first paragraph of looking at it, I said "there was an explosion." That is what we knew. I didn't take any credence that it was a "Russian" missile. The Poles were still investigating, and it was early and most things early on are hearsay at best.

There was a 50-50 chance it was accidental, or planned.
And yes, IF the assumption was that it was an errant "russian" missile, then "That's why Putin can do this with impunity." "This" being lob missiles into Poland to test NATO and Biden.

I'll stand by that. He already showed he was weak. If you actually would have read my posts, (for the THIRD TIME), I agreed with you that pedojoe was doing the right thing. That doesn't mean that I follow him with my head up his butt. I agreed with his action at this time, and it paid off. I still think that. There have been several times (especially with Ukraine) that I have agreed with joe. I also said that I thought he needed to make the aircraft available. I said that because I believe that he's done a pretty good job with this. You absolutely refuse to understand that. I think you honestly believe that I don't have the ability to make an evaluation that isn't based on dogma. I'm not the sheep (the collective) you are.

I know you didn't read much of anything I wrote. Talk about sniping.
