Gabbard, who unsuccessfully stood for the Democratic Party presidential nomination in the 2020 election, made the announcement with a video posted on Twitter, in which she accused the Democrats of stoking "anti-white racism," and "dragging us ever closer to nuclear war."
Explaining her decision to leave Gabbard said: "I can no longer remain in today's Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms, hostile to people of faith & spirituality, demonize the police & protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, dragging us ever closer to nuclear war.

As y'nes probably remember, pb was a Dem until a few years ago. The time came when pb's conscience demanded that he leave the party...
...and, for the same set of reasons that drove Tulsi away: the sanctimonious elitism, the opposition to this nation's belief that we were endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights, the fight against people of spirituality, the use of state power to oppress people in the political opposition.
Like Gabbard, pb believes that this is a nation "of the people, by the people and for the people."
It's impossible for Tulsi to believe those things a be member of the Democrat Party.
Bingo, Ms Gabbard.
