Minutes after Trump said he wouldn’t run and hide, he runs and hides.

I don't care what anybody says. Trump's trials won't help his poll numbers.

We don’t really know Joe Biden or Donald Trump. Maybe we should listen to those who do.

First, you'd be crazy to watch the whole YouTube video I linked.

It's more than eight hours long. You may want to advance to Trump's speech, which was about an hour and a half long. As I noted on another thread, Trump's speech writers always do a good job of having Trump repeat the major themes of the speech in, in this case, the last seven minutes of the speech. If you care to be informed, go there.

Trump described this as the first rally of the 022 election. If you want to know ahead of time what issues will put Dems on the defensive for the next 17 months, check out the last seven minutes of the speech...and note how psyched the crowd is already.

One more note about the video: I put it on this post about 12 hours after it concluded. It had already been viewed 2.1 MILLION times.

Though you shouldn't waste your time on the video, I watched significant portions of the rally. The crowd was humongous and many traveled hundreds of miles to attend. The people in the crowd are already anxious to vote in 022 and they are all absolutely convinced that the smoke filled room handlers of that perverted and demented doddering old fart from Delaware...the Tammany Hall of our day,...swiped the 020 election, and that Trump won in a landslide.

Early in the video, Mike Lindell of MyPillow fame spoke to an RSBN correspondent and said that the focus of the Trump team is still on the 2020 election and that by the time Trump is finished, the Supreme Court will overturn the 2020 election in a 9-0 vote.

Trump's speech includes a similar sentiment. He knows that the Dems stole his landslide.

Trump, it seems to me, is best when he can assume the role of the outsider. He assumed that role easily and naturally yesterday...though it's clear that many prominent GOPs are already chomping at the bit to hear Trump declare that he's a candidate for 2024.

The issues have changed slightly since before the 2020 election. But, the crowd is already on board.

The populist tone is central. Trump was clear in his message to the crowd that his campaign is about them.

I came away from watching the rally 100% certain that, as long as his health permits, Trump's running in 024. He loves these rallies and his people love them too.

One final note, I checked out Fox News early on Sunday. There was mention of the rally but, certainly, not an emphasis.

To know where Trump really stands for 024, conservative talk radio will have to weigh in on Monday.

    Definition of rabid
    1a: extremely violent : FURIOUS
b: going to extreme lengths in expressing or pursuing a feeling, interest, or opinion

I couldn't have said it better myself.

These are people of heart. They're not elitists.

I chose the word rabid with intention.

For me, it's a good thing.

Here's an absurdist challenge: Picture in your mind a gathering of rabid supporters of the current President.

    Bahahahaha, ahhhhhh!

Here's the CBSN coverage of the rally. Note the commentary, not journalism.

If the SwampMedia and you Swampcult Blue MAGAs want to insure that the Trump wing of the GOPs strengthens in 022, this is how to engineer it.

As for 024, with the new election laws the GOP will have in place by then, if you keep fanning the flames, the gangs at CNN and MSNBC may get their wish and have Trump to increase their ratings again.

    TDS is an amusing thing.

"Trump’s insurrection seems to be facing the same waning enthusiasm that Confederate leaders faced. Saturday night, at his first large rally since January 6, Trump spoke at Wellington, Ohio, about 35 miles west of Cleveland. While attendees responded to his complaints about the election, many left early.

Today Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) told CNN’s Jake Tapper, “there's a growing recognition that this is a bit like [professional wrestling]. That it's entertaining, but it's not real. And I know people want to say, yeah, they believe in the 'Big Lie' in some cases, but I think people recognize that it's a lot of show and bombast. But it's going nowhere. The election is over. It was fair….let's move on."---*

    Isle,

I watched the speech up to the end. I couldn't tell that many left early.

Watch the video I linked to the end of the speech. The crowd was rocking.

I think Trump is despicable. I'm not a fan. But, I can't help laughing at TDS. I'm seeing a lot of TDS since Saturday.

I am anticipating Trump's crowds to dwindle. Soon he will be performing at small rural bars, retirement homes and bar mitzvahs. He's already doing wedding receptions at MaraLago.

    Islander,
As editor, I moved your twitter video from the images area to the appropriate link area.

    Curt,

Your prediction reminds me of the classic, This is Spinal Tap, easily in my top 20 movies.

My guess is that yours is a wish, rooted in TDS and Trumpaphobia.

One thing that concerns and disturbs me is the outrageous devotion that many still feel toward Trump. I watched most of that video. The devotion remains.

Those people's Trumpaphilia, and the Trumpaphobia of so many like you, are as intense as ever.
