Once upon a time there were three little pigs and the time came for them to leave home and seek their fortunes. This required that each little pig build their own pig house.

The first little pig built his house out of straw; easiest thing to do.
Allows time to play with pig #2.
Disadvantage: Not wolf-proof. Will not withstand huffing and puffing.
The second little pig built his house out of sticks. This was a little bit stronger than a straw house. Allows time to play with pig #1.
The third little pig built his house out of bricks, the most labor-intensive costly and time-consuming of building methods.
Advantage: Wolf-proof. Withstands huffing and puffing.
Lack of wolf-proofing of straw and sticks while cost and time efficient, may prove fatal to occupants. Materials & methods rejected.
Non-flammable bricks allow for a chimney, a roaring fire in the fireplace and a large, wolf-sized kettle of water.
Strongly recommend building pig house made of bricks!
