The melons at the grocers all look delicious. But which one should you buy? Here are a few tips to know if a watermelon is ripe and ready to eat.
				1. Tap it. Does the watermelon sound hollow?	NO	It's probably not ready to be eaten. Select another watermelon.
				YES
		It's hard to tell what "a little is". Since you've said "Yes" to most of the tests, it's probably good to eat.		2. Look at the color on the top. Is there is a slight contrast between the stripes?	NO	Continue testing.
		NO		YES
Enjoy your delicious watermelon!	YES	4. Press on it. Does the watermelon give a little?	YES	3. Check the color on the bottom. Does it have a yellow-colored bottom?	NO	That may be OK that it doesn't. Continue testing.
