People who say they are voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are probably low-information voters.

Millions of people believe this sort of alternative reality narrative...go figure.

(Washington Post)MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell yesterday kicked off a “cyber symposium” that promised digital proof of his outlandish claims the 2020 election was hacked.

But by the end of the first day, all he’d provided was a smattering of data that amounted to nothing, according to experts in attendance.

Lindell's performance was yet another example of how, nearly nine months later, baseless efforts to dispute Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential election victory are still coming in hot and heavy — but with no evidence to back them up.

“This is a big fat nothing and a distraction,” Harri Hursti, a longtime election security expert who attended the conference to fact check any technical evidence, told me. Hursti is among the most prominent critics of voting machine security but has slammed election-fraud claims by Donald Trump and his supporters for lacking any hard evidence.

If Mike Lindell's claims were correct (they're not), he likely broke wiretapping laws
(Salon)A source with 20-plus years of expertise in the cyber-security and technology arena told Salon on Monday that Lindell and his band of "white hat hackers" could face criminal charges if they have anything resembling the kind of data Lindell has claimed.

"Number one is, how did they acquire this data?" the expert asked. "You can't just pull this kind of information from a remote, you have to have a physical device sitting there that is providing this information." In other words, the only way Lindell could have acquired the kind of data he claims is by inserting a physical device that can "watch information that is going in and out of a network," the literal definition of wiretapping and a clear violation of federal law.

Mike Lindell's own Cyber chief is angling to win the $5 million that the My Pillow guy promised to anybody who could prove his election conspiracy evidence was bogus

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The cyber expert on the “red team” hired by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell now says the key data underpinning the theory that China hacked the 2020 election unveiled at the Cyber Symposium is illegitimate.

Mr. Lindell said he had 37 terabytes of “irrefutable” evidence that hackers, who he said were backed by China, broke into election systems and switched votes in favor of President Biden. The proof, he said, is visible in intercepted network data or “packet captures” that were collected by hackers and could be unencrypted to reveal that a cyberattack occurred and that votes were switched.

So Mr. Montgomery, who developed HAMMER and SCORECARD which were used to "influence" foreign elections suffered a stroke the night before Lindell's symposium where he was going to show that those two cyber tools were used to "influence" US elections. Hmm.

You know the story of The Emperor's New Clothes in which con artists posing as tailors convince the king that only very intelligent people can see the miraculous material and fine clothing they're selling him.

I believe that Mike Lindell's cyber experts are pulling the same sort of scam on him by showing him images of incomprehensible "data packets" as proof of a rigged election.
