People who say they are voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are probably low-information voters.

Why didn't the Space Force identify and eliminate the Chinese spy balloons?

This seems like exactly the sort thing that the Space Force should have been on top of. Was the altitude of the balloons not high enough for them? Maybe the Space Force is only interested in confirmed extraterrestrial space invaders.

Interesting that the last couple of "objects" they shot down aren't being described as balloons. One was described as cylindrical, the size of a VW Beetle, and as having shattered into pieces after it was hit.

Just to be clear, I haven't seen anything that suggests that they could be alien craft. In fact what I've read suggests that they aren't.

Donna- I concur. There are so many flocks of geese, ducks, etcetcetc that some of these look like (although the first one was VERY high and the geese would have died at that altitude).

And, like 9/11, it may have been brought up and denied through the supervisors. They have their radar tuned for what they are "expecting." I think they do need someone who is looking above 45000'. Also, the 40,000 mark should have been picked up by towers or FAA as "unidentified. Not a spaceforce thing at that altitude.

FYSA, if the balloons look like a "flock of high seagulls" and the Chinese are looking at setting off an EMP, we're screwed. They have our entire electric grid out in a heartbeat.
