The entire interview is at the link below. What I found interesting is what a Marist pollster said. Namely, to reach ONE person willing to answer poll questions, pollsters have to make 50 to 100 calls.

We don't have a landline anymore. I only answer my smartphone if I recognize the caller's number, especially if they are from out-of-state. They are invariably spam. I don't think I am atypical. It's probably truer of younger people--they never seem to have landlines. At least I don't know anybody under 40 with landline phone--and even those phones probably have caller ID. It's not like the old days of Ma Bell when if we didn't answer the call, we'd never know who called.

Our household is the same...No landlines and we don't answer the phone unless we know the number.

    Great sources. NPR and Marist!

Marist is on the bottom of RCP's list of accurate polls. pb thinks that Marist has been showing Dems doing better than nearly every other poll.

I think you're seeing some very serious a$$ covering, here.

We'll see how much trouble Trafalgar and Insider Advantage had reaching voters.

Robert Cahaly, from Trafalgar, was on gay Guy's show a few weeks ago and Benson's interview was on how he gets an accurate reading from people. Interesting stuff.

pb thinks Marist is an elitist, Swamp poll. It's out of touch...as is the Swamp.

That said, our household is like Isle's. We're an "unlisted" number (because it was cheaper to have a number, but we don't have it hooked up). One thing different than many people I know is that our cells are not burner phones. Like many that work(ed) for the government, my work would only have my landline then, but my cell was only given out to people I know.
