People who say they are voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are probably low-information voters.

Judge Cannon, a Trump appointee, was confirmed by the Senate a week after Trump's defeat in the 2020 election. Trump, his legal team, his sycophants and apologists everywhere have been making the unsubstantiated claim that Trump's constitutional rights were violated when Mar-a-Lago was searched and classified documents and other evidence was seized.

In her ruling today regarding a special master, she wrote:
"With respect to the first factor, the Court agrees with the Government that, at least based on the record to date, there has not been a compelling showing of callous disregard for Plaintiff’s constitutional rights."

Incidentally "callous disregard" is a legal term and somewhat redundant.

    Curt,

Both OD and pb here have been highly critical of this raid on the home of the sitting President’s leading rival in the next election. Neither have gotten even close to the suggestion that OrangeMan's rights were violated...at least, pb hasn't suggested that.

The reason that nuthin like this has ever been done is that it's bad democracy. It's puuuuuuuure banana republic.

Our Constitutional Republic will never be the same now that this act, worthy of the most vicious of dictators, has taken place. Can you only imagine what Trump, if he gets back into the White House, will feel empowered to do!!!!!?

"That feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" and the Dems started this.

You can't unring a bell...and, now, that you Blue MAGA progressive Swampcultists support it so happily?

    Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh! You asked for it.

What's your rationale that Trump is above the law, Hts?

    Donna,

It's essentially is the same as "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap's" that Hunter has a free pass.

  4. by Donna on September 6, 2022 8:02 am

I figured you wouldn't answer that.

I don't think that Hunter, Joe, or anyone should get a free pass.

The reason you think that is because you are a Trump Conservative and as we are all aware, the number one rule of of conservatives is "never do anything for the first time" And their ultimate goal has always been to be able to philosophically justify selfishness. That's why they all became so enamored with Ayn Rand ! LOL

    Donna,

    Equal treatment?

Wouldn't you just love to see the fibbies trash Jill's undies drawer to be sure no evidence of Hunter's crimes is there!!!!!?
