People who say they are voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are probably low-information voters.

(POLITICO)President Joe Biden swaggered into Maryland on Thursday and excoriated his predecessor’s philosophy as “semi-fascism,” in what constituted an unusually pointed and highly charged denunciation of Republicans.

“What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of extreme MAGA philosophy,” Biden told Democratic donors in the Washington suburb of Rockville. Calling out those he labeled as “extreme” Republicans, Biden said: “It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism.”

    Curt,

Being a reader and viewer of GOP and right-wing media, I can't recall hearing a call for an apology. I do hear:

    1. Flabbergastedness that ANYONE would condemn potential voters during a campaign, and,
    2. Requests for a definition of what "semi-" fascism is.

Favor me, Curt, splain what a semi-fascist is.

    Bahahahahahahahahahaha!

I remember, back in the day, trying to splain to people who didn't know my dad way waaaaaaaaaay into dementia, the meaning of dad's innocent dementia-splattered remarks.

    So, please...splain.

I won't ask for an apology. It is he and you that are the fascist. You want everyone to bend down and lick his arse, along with all the other things the Liberal world has to offer.

And honestly, "fascist" has as much pull as "Racist." So pull on this.

You locked us down KNOWING the suicide rate for (especially) children and teens were going through the roof. And again, it's just expendable children to you. Nothing matters in your life except for you. You and your world are worse than Irmfried Eber and his.

    OD,
Suicide rates did NOT go through the roof during the COVID pandemic. There was no significant change in the suicide rates among US teens. Incidentally, teenage suicide rates have been increasing for the past several years.

Really? because reports from first responders reported a much higher incidence in suicides and child abuse and child sexual abuse. These weren't reported because no one was called. The kids slipped through the "schools" by just not showing up. Teachers have no clue where the kids went, or if they were in some ally or sold to the highest bidder.
Over a million children are unaccounted for in school roles.
"States around the country are reporting a significant decline in the number of students enrolled in public school because of the coronavirus pandemic, leaving experts and educators concerned about the trend, and its potential long-term consequences.

A notable number of students seem to have simply fallen off the grid, not showing up for online or in-person instruction, their whereabouts unknown by school officials.Bold

Given the chaos caused by the pandemic, and the lack of data, it is difficult to truly determine the exact magnitude of the problem, which seems to be disproportionately affecting already vulnerable student populations – among them homeless students, children with disabilities, children of immigrants, children in foster care and children of color.

A recent study by Bellwether Education Partners, a non-profit that focuses on underserved communities, estimates that approximately 3 million of the “most educationally marginalized students in the country” may have been missing from school since March 2020, when the pandemic forced school closures. The group said it arrived at the number by calculating a “likely percentage of at-risk groups not in school, based on media reports and available data.”

ABC News contacted officials from the departments of education in all 50 states, and found that the problem appears to be nationwide."
